LINCOLN CASTLE HISTORIC LINCOLN GROUP ITINERARY HALF TO FULL DAY Your group can enjoy a series of guided tours and free time to explore Lincoln Castle, opening in April 2015 following a 22m refurbishment. For the first time visitors can complete a full walk of the Castle's Norman walls. A new in-the-round cinema experience will offer a fresh perspective of Magna Carta history, and here visitors will experience the new Magna Carta vault where this 800 year old document will be on display alongside 1217 Charter of the Forest and a third guest document, that changes on a regular basis. Also hear the stories of the male and female Victorian prisoners (the male prison is fully open for the first time) and the unique separate system chapel.
