MODULAR DESIGN: THE HIGHEST DEGREE OF FLEXIBILITY The Y.Cube is an all-in-one system within a single enclosure which houses the Y.Converters, chosen DC battery blocks, HVAC and auxiliary components, with operation and performance managed by Younicos Controls. Y.CONVERTER 250 The bidirectional Y.Converter with embedded Younicos controls allows direct communication between PCS and battery racks. This approach minimizes usable capacity losses and mitigates fault current risk. Its superior grid-forming capabilities are key for weak grid environments. Y.Q CONTROL PLATFORM Our intelligent software enables advanced response times, response accuracy and real-time energy management to optimize battery performance. It determines automatically which function is most valuable according to the grid and market conditions and deploy real-time responses within 35 milliseconds. THERMAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM The Y.Cube manages battery rack cooling within more consistent limits, resulting in less parasitic loss and slower battery degradation. FIRE SUPPRESSION The fire suppression tank is filled with an agent gas, smoke detection units, dispersal nozzles, and a gas actuator. Modular enclosures provide increased segmentation of the system. BATTERY BLOCK The Y.Cube accommodates multiple battery technologies so that you can choose the best chemistry for the required power/energy ratio.
