These instructions are only for the items you purchased. 1. Getting Started It's best to assemble an elfa Drawer Unit on a hard surface such as a concrete floor. If you are unable to do so, you must protect your floor surface. If you don't have a plastic mallet, you can use a hammer with a wood block to protect the frame. If combining drawer units, skip the following steps and continue with the instructions for Combining Drawer Units. Assemble a Drawer Unit Step 1 Cabinet-Sized elfa Mesh Pantry Drawers Page 3 of 5
Position the side panels so the frame runners face inward, with the bottom of each panel facing up. Using a plastic mallet, tap the bottom T-crossbars into the bottom of each side panel. Add the Frame Feet to the bottom foot on the T-crossbars. Turn the partially built unit over so it is standing right side up. Step 2 If using Back Stop Pins, install them in the back holes of the top runners before inserting the top L-crossbars. Step 3 Tap the top L-crossbars completely into each side panel. Step 4 Insert remaining Back Stop Pins Add Frame Clips to two completed Drawer Units to secure them together. Place clips at the top and botton, and front and back. Slide in Drawers. If not combining Drawer Units, you will skip the instructions below. Assemble a Combined Drawer Unit Step 1 Begin by assembling the top Drawer Unit. Position the side panels so the frame runners face inward, with the bottom of each panel facing up. Using a plastic mallet, tap the bottom T-crossbars into the bottom of each side panel. Turn the partially built unit over so it is standing right side up. Step 2 If using Back Stop Pins, install them in the back holes of the top runners before inserting the top L-crossbars. Step 3 Tap the top L-crossbars completely into each side panel. Step 4 Cabinet-Sized elfa Mesh Pantry Drawers Page 4 of 5
Assemble the bottom frame, omitting the top L-crossbars. Add the Frame Feet to the bottom foot on the T-crossbars. If using Back Stop Pins, insert them in the back holes of the top runners of the bottom frame. Step 5 Lower the top frame onto the bottom frame, making sure the Back Stop Pins are all on the back side. Secure by firmly tapping each corner of the top frame until the bottom T-crossbars are completely inserted into the bottom frame Step 6 Insert remaining Back Stop Pins. Add Frame Clips to two completed Drawer Units to secure them together. Place clips at the top and botton, and front and back. Slide in Drawers. The Drawer Units are now assembled and combined. To complete your Drawer Unit, follow the instructions listed in the Drawer Unit Accessories section. Add a Melamine Top Place adhesive strips included in the packaging on the top L-Crossbars. Align the Melamine Top with the crossbars and press firmly. Congratulations! Your elfa solution is now complete! Thank you for your purchase and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
