Registered charity no. 296645 Hosting an Elf Day is a great way to get friends, family or colleagues together to celebrate the festive season and raise vital funds for Alzheimer s Society. It s easy to take part whether you go all out and dress up in festive attire, or simply bake some delicious Christmassy treats there s plenty of ideas in this pack to help make sure your Elf Day s a success! What s in this pack? Elf Day poster Make sure you advertise your event and get everyone involved. (We ve left a space at the bottom of the poster for you to write the date of your Elf Day). Elf the Boss poster Collect donations to make your boss dress up as an elf. Scrooge Pass There s always one office Scrooge who avoids the Christmas fun at all cost! Well this year everyone can get involved and raise money for Alzheimer s Society with our new Scrooge Pass. For just a small suggested donation of 5, each bah humbug colleague can get their very own Scrooge pass to place upon their desks to opt out of the festive fun. (At no point can anyone broach any Christmas related topics with someone holding a Scrooge pass. If they do, they then must make their own donation to Alzheimer s Society). Take part in Dress as an elf and donate to Alzheimer s Society to help defeat dementia Elf the Boss (Stick a photo of your boss here) Donate and help reach the target to see the Boss dress as an elf! Wear your badge with pride, knowing you are doing your part to help people affected by dementia. What can I download online? We have a range of resources online to help you with your fundraising, including: Elf Day bunting Elf masks Guess the name of the elf sweepstake Elf quiz sheet Visit alzheimers.org.uk/elfday What s my name? Guess it right to win a prize! Donate 1 to guess the name of the Elf. All the money raised will go to Alzheimer s Society to help defeat dementia. Name Elf name Name Elf name What should I do on Elf Day? Elf yourself and dress to impress Get creative and encourage others to dress as an elf (or other festive character) and donate to Alzheimer s Society. Paint your nails in an elf theme, wear an Alzheimer s Society elf mask or even try some elf make up. Eat like an elf Who doesn t love a buffet and an elf-themed one gives you an excuse to go crazy. Think candy canes, elf-shaped cakes and anything red or green. You could even try making some elf-cocktails. Bake-off, elf-style Create a cupcake or cookie stand filled with lots of nice things to decorate them with edible glitter, chocolate, fruit, sweets, cream and icing sugar compete to see who can decorate theirs the best and don t forget to get a donation. Instructions 1 Print out on thick paper. 2 Colour the mask. 3 Carefully cut-out the mask including holes for the eyes. 4 Gently punch out the orange holes either side of the mask and add some elastic string. Secure the string with clear tape. 5 Alternatively attach to a lolly stick or pipe cleaner.

Who can get the most marshmallows in their mouth at once? Or who can create the longest paper chain in 10 minutes? These are just a few suggestions! Pay to enter and give a prize to the overall winner. Elf-up and get sponsored Let friends, family and colleagues know you will dress as an elf on a trip to the shops, to a local restaurant or for the whole week, but only if you reach your fundraising target.
