Defense Health Agency (DHA) BFS Portfolio designs, develops, engineers, secures, sustains, and deploys clinical IT systems, enterprise IT systems, networks, and infrastructure and provides data management and information assurance in support of the 9.7 million beneficiaries of the Military Health System at Navy, Air Force, and Army hospitals and clinics worldwide in support of the Defense Health Agency. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) BFS Portfolio is supporting VA in the development and deployment of the Veterans Benefits Management System (VBMS), a Web-based, VA enterprise electronic claims solution. VBMS is the technology component of VA s strategy to eliminate the backlog of all compensation/pension benefit claims over 125 days old, and to improve accuracy to 98% or greater by the end of FY15. Expeditionary Pack-up Kit (EPUK), a market demand-pull system for aircraft maintenance parts across a nodal logistics support chain in support of Marine expeditionary forces. Navy Environmental Information Management System (EIMS), the single authoritative source system for env. Info. for the Fleet. ASN RDA Information System (RDAIS), the Navy's system for monitoring/reporting acquisition programs. Financial management systems Business process re-engineering and modernization of the Secretariat Automated Resource Mgmt Information System (SARMIS), DON / Assistant for Administration repository of budget formulation and execution data, and enterprise consolidation of financial mgmt. systems Navy Reserve Web portal mgmt and technical support 8
