The information desk for the minibus service is found in the centre of the arrivals lobby. Single ticket is on sale at the BKK Customer Service Points at the arrivals level of airport terminals 2A and 2B (single ticket is 350 HUF) and on board from the driver for 450 HUF. Single tickets are good for one ride only and a new ticket must be used every time you change lines with them. At the front door of the Airport there is the bus stop for Bus No.: 200E. Take the bus No. 200E and go to Kőbánya-Kispest Metro Station/M3, 9 stops (end of the line). Walk few minutes to the M3 station, take the metro and go to Ferenciek tere (towards Újpest- Központ), 9 stops. Go up to the street level and change Metro to Bus no. 7. or 8. or 112. (towards Bosnyák tér.) 2 stops. Public / private transportation in the city Buses, trams and trolleybuses run generally daily from 4.30 a.m. until 11.0 p.m. The Metro lines M1,M2,M3 interconnect at Deák tér Station, M3-M4 at Kalvin tér while M2-M4 lines at Keleti Railway Station. The service frequencies range from 3 minutes at peak time to 10 minutes late in the evening. Tickets Fares cannot be paid on board except new buses and there are fines for traveling without a validated ticket. Single tickets are good for one ride only and a new ticket must be used every time you change lines with them. The discount coupon book of 10 block of tickets (3,000 HUF) can be purchased at vendors, metro stations, hotels, news-stands; they can be validated in meters (red punch slots or orange meters), on board (tram, bus) or at station entrances in case of metro rides (orange boxes/meters). This is probably the most simple and economic way of public transport for the workshop participants, a pass (for 14 days or more), or a Budapest card, which offers dozens of free passes and tourist program discounts for Budapest visits. These are available at metro stations or at end stations of public transport. Suburban trains (called HÉV) can be used to visit the tourist attractions in small towns outside Budapest (Szentendre, Gödöllő). Taxi Cabs in Budapest are marked with the word "Taxi", often accompanied by a company name / logo such as "City Taxi". All taxi vehicles must have a yellow registration plate, as opposed to the white background on regular car plates. All taximeters are equipped with a receipt-printing function, displaying the fares charged and identification of the driver. It is customary to tip the driver about 10% of the full fare, if you were satisfied with the service. Brought by the Turks a lot of baths were built up, in and around Budapest bringing the Turkish tradition of bathing to Budapest. Széchenyi Bath The Bath includes a wellness centre, where trained instructors await guests with services, such as fat burning, weight- and body-toning gymnastics, and aqua aerobics. The swimming pool and the thermal pools are open from 6am until 10pm every day. Rudas Bath The Bath is located on the foot of the Gellért hill next to the Erzsébet híd, 1st District, Döbrentei tér 9. It was built in 1550 during the Turkish occupation of Hungary and kept its Turkish style like the octagonal pool. Gellért Bath This bath is a massive bath in the complex of the Gellért Hotel, 11 th District, Kelenhegyi út 4. Divided outside, inside are with a lot of small rooms with whirlpools, pools and thermal sources. Excellent place to swim or sit in one of the whirlpools and relax. 6
