1 INTRODUCTION WicSubmit (Electronic Submission of Work Injury Compensation Documents) is an electronic submission web portal that allows you to submit electronic copies of your documents to the Work Injury Compensation Division. This facilitates the prompt receipt of your documents by the Division. You will receive instantaneous acknowledgement upon successful upload of the documents to our system. 1.1 Purpose of this document The aim of this document is to introduce the common operations users will perform on uploading documents for work injury compensation via e-services and the steps to carry them out. For the purposes of this document, "Users refers to any party involved in the work injury compensation case. 1.2 Documents that may be submitted via WicSubmit Documents you may be required to upload Application Form Fatal Accident Statement Medical Report For Permanent Incapacity Compensation Claims For Death Compensation Claims Additional Notes If the injured employee wishes to claim compensation for Permanent Incapacity under the Work Injury Compensation Act (WICA), he have up to 1 year from accident to return the form to MOM. If the employee passed away as a result of accident arising out of and in the course of Employment, the deceased s next of kin will be required to return the form to MOM. Once the injured employee decides to claim under the WICA, a medical report is to be completed by the treating hospital/clinic. This is for the hospital/clinic to assess the extent of the employee s injury. 3

The assigned Hospital will return the completed medical report to MOM. MOM may seek clarification from the treating hospital/clinic regarding the medical assessment of the injured employee. If an injured employee (or deceased s dependant) has filed a claim under WICA, but subsequently wishes to withdraw his claim, he may return us the completed form. Any party who wishes to object to the Notice of Assessment (NA) is required to complete and submit this form within 14 days from the date of service of the NA. At any stage of the claims process, MOM may request for documents that will assist us with the processing of the claims. When MOM request for the acknowledgement of receipt of compensation payment, you will be asked to submit the completed form to us. 4
2 Getting started 2.1 Access e-services and Login Step 1: Go to www.mom.gov.sg/wicsubmit Step 2: Click on. A [SingPass] login window will pop up. You will need SingPass ID to login If you do not have a SingPass ID, please click the link [Do not have a SingPass? Apply here] to register. Figure 1 Step 3: Enter [SingPass ID] and [SingPass]. Click to continue. Step 4: You will be redirected to [Document Submission for Work Injury Compensation] page as shown in Figure 2. 5
2.2 Upload a Document You need a valid WIC claim reference number before you can upload documents for the case. Step 5: Enter [Your Particulars] and tick the checkbox to confirm the declaration. Figure 2 Step 6: To retrieve the document list, enter [WIC Claim Reference No.] and click (shown in Figure 2). A list of documents required for the case shall be displayed as shown in Figure 3. 6

Step 8: Mouse over to view a sample of the document. Step 9: From the list of documents displayed in Figure 3, click or icon against the document which you wish to perform an upload. A new window will pop up as shown in Figure 4. Figure 4 Step 10: Please ensure your documents meet the requirements stated in Figure 4. 8
Step 11: Click on and another window will pop up to display the document folders located in your computer, as shown in Figure 5. Figure 5 Step 12: Select the required PDF file and click to start the uploading process. You will be redirected to the Document Upload screen shown in Figure 6 and a status bar will be displayed to show you the progress. Figure 6 9
Only PDF format file is accepted and the maximum accepted file size is 6MB Step 13: To verify the document which you have previously selected, click on in Figure 7, and a preview page of the document will be displayed as shown in Figure 8. After previewing the document, click to continue with the document upload process. If you need to add another document, please refer to Section 2.4. To cancel the uploading process, please refer to Section 2.8. Figure 7 10
Figure 8 Step 14: To confirm your submission, click as shown in Figure 7 and the Preview Screen shown in Figure 9 will be displayed. If you need to replace the document, please refer to Section 2.5. If the document is correct, click again to complete the document upload process. You will be then be directed to the Acknowledgement screen as shown in Figure 10. 11

To end this session, click on. 2.3 Upload Supporting Documents In addition to the list of documents displayed in Figure 3, you may also upload documents that will assist us with the processing of the claim. Step 3: To proceed with document upload, please refer to Section 2.2 for the step by step guide. 2.4 Upload multiple files in one document If you wish to add another PDF file after completing the document upload in Step 12, click (in Figure 7) to select the additional file. The system will merge the selected file into a single PDF file. 2.5 How to replace a selected document If you need to replace the uploaded document in Step 12, click on. Another window will pop up to display the document folders located in your computer. Select the new PDF file to replace the uploaded one. 14
2.6 View Submitted Document To view submitted document, click hyperlink or icon as seen in Figure 13. This will display the document in a new window as shown in Figure 14. Figure 13 15
Hyperlink will be only available for document that has been submitted by you. You shall NOT be able to view the document that has been archived Figure 14 Click on to close the view submitted document screen. 16
2.7 How to Print Submitted Document When you view your submitted document, you may also print a copy as reference. Refer to Section 2.6 on steps to view submitted document. If the document has a single page only, a button will be displayed as in Figure 15. To print the document, click on let you select printer and set your printing., and a window will pop to If the document has multiple pages, a button will be displayed as in figure 14. To print the document, click on button, a PDF format of the document will be displayed as in Figure 16, click on, and a window will pop to let you select printer and set your printing, as shown in Figure 17 Figure 15 17
