Welcome to Blueface Thank you for choosing Blueface for your business Hardware With Blueface you now have access to your own phone system in the cloud. Your phones can operate from anywhere with a broadband connection and have the functionality that was previously only available with an on-premises phone system. You can now work remotely as if you re in the office, access your call history in real time, have multiple phones ring at once and get your voicemails delivered to your email. While you may have already reduced the cost of your phone line rental, did you know that you can also move your fax number to Blueface as a virtual fax service? In addition, collaboration is easier as Call Conferencing and Web SMS are now services that you can avail of. It s easier to do business with Blueface. LAN Port DC Jack 2 Once you have done this, leave the phone connected without trying to place a call or changing the settings. The phone may restart a number of times while it completes any required updates and configures to your account. This usually completes within 30 minutes. * Note: PC Port (KX-UT123/KX-UT133/ KX-UT136 only) 3 Once you have a green light on the phone and/or the current date and time is displayed - the phone is ready to make and receive calls (Panasonic TGP, only). 4 5

Troubleshooting 1 If you have trouble connecting your phone here are some quick checks we recommend: 4 If the problem persists, check the settings on your firewall: Check that the correct date and time is showing on the screen of the phone Check that your broadband is working and that your phone is connected Check that the cable between your phone & broadband modem/router is connected correctly into the LAN port on the back of the phone Allow ALL Traffic FROM and TO IP range of 194.213.29.0/24 for UDP protocol Make sure SIP ALG is disabled Set UDP keep alive time out to 200 seconds 2 If you are still having problems: Do a power-cycle by unplugging the power supply to your phone & broadband for 5 minutes and then plug them back in Check if the phone is getting an IP Address: Panasonic UT Range: 5 If you are still unable to connect your phone: Please contact our Support Team Email: support@blueface.ie Press Information Display Scroll [] and you will see IP Address and you will see the IP Address displayed on Tel: 01 524 2000 the screen i.e. 192.168.xxx.xxx Panasonic TGP Range: Press Menu IP Service Network Settings IP Settings and you will see the IP Address displayed on the screen i.e. 192.168.xxx.xxx 3 If the screen displays an Error message, perform a factory reset on the phone. To do this: Panasonic UT Range: Press: # 136 and perform Factory reset Panasonic TGP Range: Press: # 730 and process Yes 6 7

Quick Tips Transferring a Call You can transfer a call to another destination (extension or outside party). To transfer Panasonic UT Press TRANSFER during a conversation Call number or extension of the party you want to transfer the call to Press ENTER or Blueface Portal Manage your Account Online OK Wait until the other party answers to announce the transfer (This step can be omitted) Press TRANSFER or RENEW AND TOP-UP ADJUST CALL ROUTING ACCESS VOICEMAIL REAL-TIME CALL HISTORY NUMBER PORTING FREE CALL CONFERENCING FAX-TO-EMAIL INVOICE HISTORY OK To transfer Panasonic TGP Press Menu during a conversation Select Trans (on screen) Enter the number or extension of the party you want to transfer the call to Press Trans again Holding a Call. You can put a call on hold by holding the call at your extension Panasonic UT - Hold, and then go on-hook Panasonic TGP - Press Hold (on screen) To retrieve a call on hold at your extension Go off-hook Do one of the following, depending on your unit: For KX-UT113/KX-UT123 users - Press Hold For KX-UT133/KX-UT136 users - Press the green flashing DN button (flexible button) For TGP users Press Hold (flashing, on screen) Note: If a call is not retrieved within a specified time, you will hear an alarm as a reminder. 8 9

Online Account PORTAL LOGIN: customers.blueface.ie Manage Voicemails Set up Call Forwarding To access your voicemails, you can either use a phone or your computer. Go to Call Management Listen to and manage your Voicemail from your computer Select the number you want to forward Simply log in to your portal and you will click Voicemails in the menu Scroll down and enter the destination number for the forward in the first Here you can listen to your messages and download, forward or column Click Save delete them Note: Listen to and manage your Voicemail from your phone If you are on a Blueface call plan, there is no charge to forward to a landline in Ireland or the UK. Dial 171 from your Blueface phone At the voice-prompt enter your PIN number (This information is contained in your Blueface welcome email) To change your voicemail PIN or the email address that receives your voicemails, log in to your online account and go to Voicemail Settings To set up a personal greeting for your Voicemail box, log in from your phone, select zero for Mailbox Options and use the Temporary Greeting option 10 11

Port your number to Blueface PORTAL LOGIN: customers.blueface.ie To arrange for your number to be moved to Blueface from your previous provider, log into your Blueface account at www.blueface.ie and follow these steps: Go to Online Account Management Select Number Porting Form Select Landline or Mobile Porting Form as appropriate Complete form Blueface will not upload your details to the National Directory Database. To arrange for your contact details to be included in the National Directory Database, log into your Blueface account at www.blueface.ie and follow these steps: Go to Online Account Management Attach recent bill from previous provider Pay administration fee Submit Landline Porting Form through website Email Mobile Porting Form to accounts@blueface.ie Upload your details to the National Directory Database (NDD) 12 Select National Directory Complete form Note: Your details will be uploaded to the NDD within 2 weeks 13
