AAM COMMERCIAL VEHICLE PRODUCT PORTFOLIO Single-Drive and Tandem Rear Axles AAM single-drive rear axle systems are rated from 5,250 to 11,500 Kg GAWR (11,600 to 25,360 lb.). AAM s tandem drive rear axle systems are rated up to 21,000 kg GAWR (46,000 lb.). Fitted with our PowerDense matched gearsets, they deliver large capacity in a modestly sized package, ultimately reducing the weight of the axle. Driveheads Offering driveheads for single drive truck, bus applications and tandem applications with ring gear sizes up to 457mm (18 ) in diameter. Single-Drive Rear Engine Bus Axles AAM offers single-drive hypoid rear axles for rear engine buses with an inverted drivehead driving on drive side of gear teeth. Rear ring gear sizes are offered in 350mm (13.8 ) and 368mm (14.5 ) diameters. Ground gears are available for improved NVH, with a wide range of axle ratios available for all applications. Front Steerable Axles Our light, medium and heavy front axles are offered with GAWR capacities from 1,350 to 9,000 Kg (2,976 to 20,000 lb.). A perfect match for our rear axles, our front-steer axles are engineered to optimize your vehicle design without limiting your choice of wheels or brakes. Propeller Shafts AAM produces a wide range of propeller shafts and related components that incorporate advanced materials, coatings and processes, giving commercial customers improved vehicle performance. A variety of joint sizes and end configurations are also available. 3

This Center houses a materials and metallurgical lab, two-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive dynamometers for in-use testing, a semi-anechoic chamber and multiple testing capabilities. In addition to our core Engineering resources in North America, AAM offers local application engineering support in Europe, South America, Asia and India.
