GENERAL BSN RUGBY LAUNCH DIGITAL MAGAZINE Welcome to the first edition BSN digital club News Letter, which will be published at regular intervals. (Monthly at first if we don t have enough news for one issue each month we will re-consider the timing) Once published, a copy will be placed on the club website: www.bsnrugby.nl. Each manager will also receive a copy by mail for distribution through the squads. The magazine aims at updating coaches and managers on Club matters, as well as informing parents/guardians on various topics COMMITTEE UPDATE AGM NEWS This year s AGM saw the election of a new Chair: Sean Griffin takes over from Ellen Witt with effect from the AGM. Sean has been involved with BSN for the last 3-4 years, originally lending a helping hand with the Benji s before moving to the Mini s as an assistant coach. He attended the first IRB Level 1 coach s course held at the BSN and took over the role of Head Coach of the Cubs squad last season. Next season Sean, together with John Mossman, will coach the Junior s squad. Ellen, who took over as Chair from Linda Lane, steered the Club for three seasons and continued to develop BSN Rugby into one of the most respected Clubs in the Country, respected by other Clubs as well as the National Union (Nederlands Bond). She introduced training for First Aid volunteers through the IRB and formalised the on-site training for coaches and referees, resulting in BSN being able to boast the largest number of qualified coaches and referees in the Club s history.
