Students completing the program will develop skills and receive the hands-on experience necessary to be accepted into the professional core of courses offered at the university level. Specific requirements leading to a bachelor s degree in education differ among the four-year higher education institutions. To tailor a program specific to student needs, meet with the Education Academic Advisor prior to registering for courses. SECONDARY EDUCATION Not all teaching majors are offered at all USHE schools. Meet with the Education Academic Advisor for the specific transfer information about the major(s), minor(s) at the school to which you plan to transfer. Most colleges and universities require EDU 1010. Efficient transfer planning is essential.
