What is your impression of Geography?

Objectives

Geography Knowledge of the natural and cultural landscapes, and an understanding of human-nature relationships at local, regional and global levels. Inculcate in pupils a sense of appreciation and responsibility for their environment, as well as to develop an empathy for and a sensitivity towards people in different cultural landscapes. Skills in identifying and classifying natural and manmade features in the environment, Observing, collecting and recording geographical data and information in the field.

History Provide a broad overview and will highlight the developments and achievements of the Ancient Civilisations of Southeast Asia, India and China. Provide a better understanding of your roots and heritage as your own forefathers have traced their origins to these regions. Understand political, social and economic history of Singapore from its founding in 1819 by the British to Singapore s independence in 1965. To develop key historical and critical thinking skills such as recognising bias in History writing, distinguishing between fact and opinion, and processing historical information
