TEMSAN is a state-owned company. TEMSAN was established in conformity with the main contract attached to the decision dated 13.11.1975 and no: 7/10907 of the Council of Ministers and started activities in 1977.

LEGAL STATUS TEMSAN carries out the activities as the related establishment of Republic of Turkey Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, subjected to decree law no. 233 about the state economic enterprises.

The nominal capital of TEMSAN is 260 Million TL and according to the decision of the Council of Ministers No.2007/12106 published in Official Gazette No.26538 dated 31.05.2007, TEMSAN was configured as a state economic enterprise.

The purpose of establishment of TEMSAN is, manufacturing, supplying, installing, operating and trading electric power plants and all equipments listed below related with the electrical energy generation, transmission and distribution; Turbines, Generators, Steam Boilers, Various Boilers, Water and Gas Tanks, Steel Constructions, Alternators, Electric Transmission Lines, Cables, Transformers, Switchgear Devices, Electric Motors, Pumps, Compressors, Welding Machines. www.temsan.gov.tr
