19 TECHNICAL DETAILS ADS SUBMISSION STANDARDS For submitting ads to Sabah Advertisement Booking Department in CD, through or FTP, following points should be duly taken into consideration: The original copy of the advertisement should be sent in PDF. You can seek the necessary settings from sabah.com.tr. 20 TECHNICAL DETAILS TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION 1. Advertisements on the first page of Sabah newspaper shall require the prior approval of the managing editor and do not merit any day and publication guarantee. 2. The page depth shall be net 32.4 cm x 53cm 3. For advertisements occupying both pages in the middle section, minimum width shall be 10 columns. Minimum size to merit a day and publication guarantee on that shall be 18 columns x 26cm. 4. For colored and S/B advertisements with preferences, no page guarantee is offered for ads smaller than 360 columns/cm. 5. No page choice is available in color or black&white ads with preferences in Istanbul edition. 6. Size changes are allowed up until am one day in advance to the publication date for all ads in Turkey edition and preferred ads in Istanbul edition. 7. Ads on advertisement pages do not merit a publication date guarantee due to technical reasons. 8. Any verbal booking shall not be taken into consideration unless a confirmed written order follows it. 9. Unless ads sent in digital media are transferred to our booking department in line with our advertisement transmission standards, the liability in connection therewith shall be borne by the advertiser. 10. Size changes for commercial and classified ads page in Istanbul edition are allowed up until 3.00pm one day in advance to the date of publication date. 11. Size changes and cancellations for weekly supplements are allowed up until three days in advance to the publication date, and up until 4.00pm two days in advance to the publication date for Gunaydın. 12. Visuals of advertisements should be delivered to Sabah by 3,00pm and 7,00pm the day immediately before the publication date for Turkish and Istanbul editions, respectively. No liability is assumed in case of a delay. 13. It is the advertiser that shall be liable for any changes not notified in writing. 14. For colored ads, proofs on newspaper paper and identical to the original size should be sent. Unless proofs are delivered one day in advance to the publication date, the advertiser shall be liable for the consequences thereof.
