Dangerous Creatures Many sea creatures use poison to catch and kill their prey. Some of the ocean s fiercest predators visit reefs. The darts contain a powerful poison that can paralyse people. The tiger shark and the great white pointer are fierce hunters. Sometimes these poisons can be very dangerous to humans.
