FEATURES AND BENEFITS The new range of precision air condition systems offers high reliability, efficiency and respect for the environment. It has been designed specifically to guarantee correct operation in high-tech application that include clean rooms, laboratories, high technology office, telecommunication areas, computer rooms, hospital that require cooling systems which ensure always strict control of temperature, humidity and air quality within project parameters. The main features of the new range are: Precise and reliable operation. Efficiency and energy-saving by an accurate design of all components. Microprocessor control and diagnostics to monitor and display all operative conditions. Small footprint. Flexible configuration, to cope with specific design and installation requirements. Ease and speed of installation. Ease of maintenance and servicing: the access for maintenance is on the front of the unit for all models. New styling very graceful and functional. A wide range of communication protocols can be used to allow interfacing with most BMS. 2 American Standard Inc. 2003 A wide range of configurations gives maximum design freedom without the need for expensive bespoke solutions. The versatility of the new precision air conditioners range is characterized by: Two different fan options: centrifugal fan with forward curved blades or centrifugal fan withbackward curved blades. A wide range of filter types: from EU4 up to EU8 (according to EUROVENT Standards). Versions available with one or two independent refrigerant circuits. Different acoustic linings for the panels of the unit casing. Downflow and Upflow air configurations; the last one is suitable for reprise from the front or from the rear or from the bottom. The several versions available are: DXA units air cooled,suitable to work together with external remote condensers. DXW units water cooled,which are package units charged and sealed in the factory. They are suitable to work together with external dry-coolers. CW units,with the availability of chilled water. Twin Cool units (chilled water or air cooled), characterized by two separate circuits and featured by function priority on CW circuit: the DX circuit starts-up automatically in case of emergency on the CW circuit. Energy Saving units,which use the free cooling effect available when the outside temperature is lower than the temperature of the controlled area. MICROPROCESSOR CONTROLS The new precision air conditioning units are controlled by the latest generation of microprocessors. They perform real-time control and diagnostics, monitoring all unit functions. These highly advanced microprocessors are very simple to program and user-friendly in operation. To achieve this target the ergonomics and the keypad design have been designed accurately. The microprocessor controls are available in three different versions. MP10 New. The controller is featured by an extra large, 128 x 256 pixel, graphic display. It provides the user with graphs showing temperature and humidity trends and a lot of status information, such as alarm message management and alarm history. The control includes also a continuous display mapping the user s location within the navigation menu. mp10 New allows as an optional LAN function and RS485 or RS422 interface. The mp10 New microprocessor board is installed in a separate housing within the unit for enhanced protection from electromagnetic interference. MP20 New. Providing a high level of functionality the mp20 New microprocessor control is fitted with a large 4 x 20 alphanumeric display. It provides the user with a lot of status information, such as alarm message management and alarm history. mp20 New allows as an optional LAN function and RS485 or RS422 interface. The mp20 New microprocessor board is installed in a separate housing within the unit for enhanced protection from electromagnetic interference. MP30. New package microprocessor control suitable for the regulation of air temperature and humidity. It is featured by 30 x 85 mm LCD symbol display with the microprocessor board and flash EPROM integrated in the user terminal. mp30 provides the user with a lot of status information and alarm history by means of graphic symbols. As an optional RS485 interface can be fitted.
