3 Gang Substation 3 Gang Tamper/Weather resistant substation connects directly to IP networks. It is used where hard wiring is inconvenient and both attractive appearance and extreme durability are important. Full Duplex capable SIP modules are build-in kits for integration in existing housings and panels or building of customer specific stations. The stations are connected directly to the Ethernet (LAN/WAN) and in this manner are connected to a compatible SIP Server via the IP-network. The built-in switch with downlink function allows direct connection of an additional IP-device (e.g. an IP-camera).Besides high volume, the SIP modules provide a numerous amount of further features: Pre-recorded audio can be applied in a multi-purpose manner, e.g. as acoustic indication at line fault or as waiting information at call initiation, a configurable background noise canceller provides a crystal lear communication in challenging situations. Furthermore,the modules are perfectly suited for use as door stations at entry- and gateways, due to integrated relay outputs.other application examples: emergency stations at highways, park ticket machines or also for smaller systems with door functions. The SIP modules integrated in helppoints are conencted to the appropriate SIP server and a call center over the IP network. Connection diagram POE has to be connected to the RJ 45 jack IP Uplink (see left). Further IP device can be connected to the RJ 45 jack IP Downlink (see left), like e.g. an IP camera. But it is also possible to link up to 20 SIP-ET908A in series via this ethernet interface. Attention - Use of POE: If multiple SIP-ET908A are connected in series, then only the 1st device can be supplied with Power over Ethernet. All other devices (connected in series) must be supplied separately by an external power supply unit. compatibility sip pbx Basically the SIP stations can be used withany SIP server.
