New Temple Phase One Construction FOUNDATION PILLARS
Dear devotees and well-wishers, London Sri Mahalakshmi Temple has been serving the devotees since 1990. Since then numerous devotees have attended the temple, participated in Poojas and have been obtaining the blessings of Sri Lakshmi Narayanar and other Moorthies. The number of devotees have steadily increased and the current building cannot accommodate all the devotees comfortably. With the blessings of Sri Lakshmi Narayanar, we applied to construct a new Temple at 241 High Street North and Newham council have granted a planning permission for building a new temple to provide more facilities. New temple internal area will be approximately three times bigger than the current temple. The estimated cost of the project is approximately 4.5 million and we are planning to complete the construction with your help and the Almighty s blessings by June 2016. The new temple building development will be with low carbon emission and sustainable. It will be constructed with granite flooring, central air-conditioning, air-quality management with appropriate air-exchanges, wash room with baby changing room and modern facilities. Traditional Hindu Temple Garpagraham and other Mandapams have been sculpted in white granite by the eminent sculptors in India. The construction of the whole temple and Rajagopuram will be built in traditional Hindu style under the direct supervision of Padmashri Silpakalamani Muthiah Sthapathi, the famous Hindu Temple architect from India. This auspicious project will provide a larger temple and more facilities to the devotees and we all have a life time opportunity to participate. We kindly request you to contribute generously towards the above project and please encourage your friends to do so too. Kindly donate either by using the attached standing order form or as one-off donation by account transfer or at the Temple office as cash, cheque or card payments. You can also donate using PayPal via the temple website: www.srimahalakshmitemple.net You can also sponsor towards a foundation pillar by donating 2000. The payments can be spread across the remaining time of the construction phase. Board of Trustees will engrave a desired name of the devotee who donates more than 1200 for the new Temple project. Your kind contributions to this divine project will be very much appreciated, even if it is a small amount. Thank you. Yours sincerely, Board of Trustees Lakshmi Narayana Trust March 2015 Om Namo Narayanaya Om Namo Bhagavathe Vasudevaya
