CMM Graduate Program at Sakarya Univ. Established in 2013, the Computational Mechanics and Manufacturing (CMM) program offers graduate studies at both Master s and Doctorate levels for students who would like to be experts in the mechanics and manufacturing area with an emphasis on simulation and computational aspects. CMM Focus Areas include; Computational Engineering Mechanics Simulations of Manufacturing Processes Optimization and Scheduling of Manufacturing Processes Materials Science and Properties Computational Statistics and Probability Studies of Mechanics and Manufacturing with a Focus on Computations and Simulations
Application Requirements to CMM Graduate Studies To Be Eligible for Application to M.Sc. Program* A minimum grade of 60 from ALES, or 647 from GRE Exam A minimum grade of 60 from YDS, KPDS, ÜDS or an equivalent grade from other international language exams Reference letters (not compulsory) To Be Eligible for Application to Ph.D. Program* A minimum grade of 70 from ALES, or 685 from GRE Exam A minimum grade of 65 from YDS, KPDS, ÜDS or an equivalent grade from other international language exams Reference letters (not compulsory) *Admissions will be based on evaluations and ordering of candidates with respect to the above grades, letters and the availability of spaces for each program.
CMM Degree Requirements To Be Eligible for a CMM M.Sc. Degree Take two core courses, 6 ECTS credit each Advanced Engineering Mathematics Numerical Methods in Engineering Take six elective courses, 6 ECTS credit each Successful completion of a thesis in one of the focus areas of CMM Publication of the thesis study in either a journal or as a conference proceeding To Be Eligible for a CMM Ph.D. Degree Take two core courses, 6 ECTS credit each Advanced Engineering Mathematics Numerical Methods in Engineering Take six elective courses, 6 ECTS credit each Successful completion of a dissertation in one of the focus areas of CMM Publication of the dissertation study as a journal article in SCI
