Georgia Global Trade Summary Data released February 5, 2015 For the fifth consecutive year, Georgia exports reached a record level. Georgia companies exported nearly $39.4 billion in goods and services to 227 countries and territories in, representing an increase of 4.9% over the previous year. Georgia remains the 11 th largest exporting state in the nation. Georgia imports also experienced a record level in with imports totaling nearly $83.7 billion in goods, an increase of 11.5% over 2013. In FY, GDEcD s International Trade division worked with approximately 1,100 companies in Georgia. Work with these companies resulted in 373 export deals valued at $86.2 million. During that time, GDEcD s international representatives provided significant assistance to 78 International Trade s key clients. Georgia Exports was the fifth consecutive record year for Georgia exports, and the total value of goods exported - nearly $39.4 billion - represents the most Georgia has ever exported in a single year. The state s exports of $39,365,292,410 were up 4.9% ($1.8 billion) from 2013. The state remains the 11 th largest exporting state based on dollar value of exports. Since the announcement of the National Export Initiative in January 2010, Georgia exports have grown from $28,898,749,200 (2010) to $39,365,292,410 (), an increase of 36.2%. Georgia exports to countries covered by GDEcD International Representatives (Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Europe, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, and the United Kingdom & Ireland) totaled $24.1 billion, accounting for 61 Georgia s total exports. Over the past five years, the largest increases in exports from Georgia were to South Korea (98%), Singapore (77%), the UK (66%), Brazil (64%) and Mexico (53%).
