4. Introduction 4.1. Purpose This document defines initial steps after installation and explains the properties of HotelTV2 Admin Menu. The following sections describe the environment usage model: 5 VOD Server... "6 Managing Categories and Contents on HotelTV"... "7 Managing Categories and Contents on HotelTV2"... 4.2. Scope This document intends to be a reference manual for using of HotelTV2 client releases and explains each step of properties through HotelTV2 client release with examples. This document is shared and applicable for the development all VESTEL sites. 4.3. Abbreviations IP Internet Protocol TV Television DHCP Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol 4 / 11

5. VOD SERVER Anevia Toucan VOD Server are designed to record and stream a very high number of simultaneous streams. 5.1. VOD Server Web Interface You can access the web interface on a browser http://vod_server_ip. The page on Figure 5.1 opens. You can see the added video and music contents on Main Page, you can change the configuration parameters such as IP configuration and RTSP/FTP on CONFIG page. Figure 5-1: Anevia Toucan Web Interface To operate with HotelTV software, it's suggested that use 554 for RTSP listening port and 1234 for streaming default port. 5.2. Adding Video Contents into VOD Server Anevia VOD Server can be accessible by its FTP address. Video contents can be added or deleted through this way. You should open a windows browser and enter "ftp://vod_server_ip" like as shown in Figure 5.3 Figure 5-3: How to Access Anevia FTP Folder Later on, it asks for username and password. By successful login, you can access the VOD Server's folders like below Figure 5.4; Figure 5-4: Anevia FTP Folders 6 / 11

It is mandatory to upload video contents under the "/vod/streams" folder. After uploading, you can see the contents on the VOD Server's web interface like below Figure 5.5. Figure 5-5: Populated Anevia Web Interface 7 / 11

6. Managing Video Categories and Contents Video contents can be added both HotelTV or HotelTV2 software. Regarding to your system, use methods for either Section 6.1 (Managing Videos on HotelTV) or Section 6.2. (Managing Videos on HotelTV2) 6.1. Managing Videos on HotelTV Manage Video Categories: Video categories can be managed by using the way of Administration Media Management VOD Manage Video Categories. Figure 6.1 shows this page. Video management menu has items to manage video content in the system. You can perform all operations about video categories. This function is used to add new categories or update and delete old ones. New category will be added when language option is selected as all. List button enables listing categories according to selected language. Press icon to update or press icon to delete existing categories. Figure 6-1: Video Categories on HotelTV Manage Video Content: To manage video contents, you should use the way of 8 / 11

Administration Media Management VOD Manage Videos. This function enables you to control video files. To add a new video content, select Category specified on Video Categories. After clicking Insert, Figure 6.2 shown on page. Figure 6-2: Create Video on HotelTV You should click Insert again to add video content. All fields must be filled like Figure 6.3. The ".ts" files must be located at ftp://vod_server_ip/vod/streams/ folder. So that, you can fill "Trailer Path" or "Movie Path" only by writing the file name. Otherwise, it would not work. After adding a video content, it is again same as Figure 6.2. If you press Update link, film details come to screen. You can update film properties in this page. In addition, you can add or remove Audio Language / Audio Language PIDs / Subtitle Language / Subtitle Language PIDs. To delete old videos press icon. 6.2. Managing Videos on HotelTV2 Manage Video Categories: Video categories can be managed by using the way of Content Management Video Categories. Figure 7.1 shows this page. Video Management menu has items to manage video content in the system. You can perform all operations about video categories. This function is used to add new categories or update and delete old ones. New category will be added after naming and adding poster path. Press Edit icon to update existing categories or press Delete icon to delete old categories. Figure 6-4: Video Categories on HotelTV2 Manage Video Content: To manage video contents, you should use the way of Content 10 / 11

Management Video Content. This function enables you to control video files. To delete old videos press Delete icon. In addition, if you press Edit link, film details come to screen. You can update film properties in this page. To add new film press New button, fill the fields in the opened page and press Create button. Figure 6-5: Create Video on HotelTV2 The "Video Path" or the "Video Trailer Path" have to be written in the syntax below : rtsp://192.168.1.98:554/vod/2fast_2furious.ts Manage Video Packages: Video Packages let you reach multiple contents at the same purchase. You should use the way : Content Management Video Packages. To add a new movie package press New button, fill out the required information with the video contents which is going to be included in the packet, and click Create". You can also delete or update current packages by clicking Delete and Edit respectively. 11 / 11
