Navigated minimal-invasive implantation with temporary dental restoration. 1 2 3 Initial situation Gingiva-level position of drilling-sleeve inside the template. Bleeding-spot marking via probe or pilot-drill. 4 5 6 The tissue-puncher gauges gingiva-thickness. Increasing screw-in depth by measured tissuethickness is taking the sleeve to bone-level. Pilot-drill fits solidly into the sleeve and precisely transfers angulation and depth parameters from the 3D planning. 7 8 9 Without a template the telescopic-drill s guidepin uses the pilot-drilling. Telescopic-drill guided by the pilotdrill canal. At final position the guide-pin retracts into the body of the drill. Final depth of pilot-drill equals the final depth position of the telescopic-drill. 10 11 Screw-in drillingsleeve Now the 3,5 mm diameter implant can be inserted as shown.
