The following list can be used as a resource when searching for housing in New York City. RESIDENCE HALLS Most residence halls offer single or double rooms with shared bathrooms and laundry facilities and either include two meals a day or provide a shared kitchenette. halls are especially good options for students who are comfortable staying in a single or shared room without a chaperone. Some residence halls will allow younger students to stay with a chaperone in the room or in a single room next door. APARTMENT SUBLETS Furnished apartments or a room in an apartment can also be sublet by the month. There are several ways to find out about subletting in NYC including housing agents and services, newspapers and websites. Shared apartments are a good way to accommodate several students with a full-time or rotating parent/chaperone. Summer sublets are usually advertised starting in March and April. ABT will also maintain an email list of apartment and room sublet notifications that are sent to us directly. Some of these opportunities include renting a room from parents who have dancers attending summer programs in other parts of the country. LOCATION Several of the residence halls are within walking distance of the ABT Studios, located at 890 Broadway at 19 th Street.
