The Situation 2002 Poor international results for Swedish youth- and junior hockey. Scouting rapports indicated that our players were weak in many aspects of the game. The Swedish Ice hockey Association decided to investigate how Swedish Ice Hockey could improve the youth and junior players and coaches development.

Youth and Junior Ice Hockey Investigation In 2002, 120 Swedish Hockey Experts met in Bosön, Stockholm for a summit to investigate how to develop Swedish youth and junior hockey. Goals - Produce more players who can play at the elite level - To compete for medals in all Junior National Teams tournaments.
