The first edition of W imieniu Rzeczypospolitej was published by Instytut Literacki (Literary Institute) in Paris in its Kultura series in 1954. The second edition was published by Gryf Publication Ltd. in London in 1964. In Poland, where the literary works by Korboński were censored, the book was published by the Krąg Publishing House as a samizdat in Warsaw in 1982. Its first full edition, prepared by Andrzej Krzysztof Kunert, was published by Bellona Publishing House as late as 1991. In 2006 the book was issued by the Stefan Korboński Foundation. Its English language version, entitled Fighting Warsaw: The Story of the Polish Underground State 1939 1945, had several editions: the first one was published by Macmillan Co. in New York in 1957, the second one by George Allen & Unwin Ltd. in London in 1958, and the third one appeared in Funk & Wagnalls in New York in 1968. The next volume in the series, W imieniu Kremla, was adapted to the format of an authentic diary covering the period 1945 1947 and was published by the Literary Institute in Paris in 1956. In Poland it was published by the Vademecum publishing house as a samizdat in 1984. In 1997 its full edition was published by the publishing houses of Bellona and Rytm, with the preface by Zbigniew Brzeziński, annotated by Andrzej Krzysztof Kunert. Its translation into English was entitled Warsaw in Chains, and was published in 1959 concurrently by Macmillan Co. in New York and by George Allen & Unwin Ltd. in London. The book has also been translated into Spanish (En el Nombre del Kremlin) and published by Editorial Jue in Mexico in 1965. W imieniu Polski Walczącej was first published in 1963 by Bolesław Świderski at his Polish Book House in London. As Warsaw in Exile, it was published in New York in 1966, by Frederic A. Praeger Publishers. It was also George Allen & Unwin Ltd. that published the English language version of the book in the same year in London. The next book written by Korboński, Między młotem a kowadłem, was first published in London in 1969, by Gryf Publications Ltd. The English language version, Between the Hammer and the Anvil, was published by Hippocrene Books in New York in 1981. An extremely significant component of the literary output of Korboński was his Polskie Państwo Podziemne przewodnik po Podziemiu z lat 1939 1945, published by Instytut Literacki in Paris in 1975. In 1983 the book was also issued by the Promyk publishing house in Philadelphia. The third Polish edition (of 1981) was published by an underground publishing house Krąg, and then by a publishing house Nasza Przyszłość in Bydgoszcz in 1989. An official Polish edition was by the Świat Książki publishing house in 2008. The English language version of that specific manual of the Polish Underground State was entitled The Polish Underground State: A Guide to the Underground 1939 1945. Its first and second editions were publishedin 1978 by East European Quarterly, and by Columbia UniversityPress. Its third edition became available in 1981 in New York, from Hippocrene Books. Korboński was one of the first to popularize the term Polish Underground State. Bicentennial Publishing Corporation published Za murami Kremla opowieść fantastyczna in New York in 1983, and then Bohaterzy Państwa Podziemnego jak ich znałem in 1987. The Polish edition ofthe latter appeared in Warsaw in 1990, with Omnipress responsiblefor its publishing.korboński s successive work, Polonia Restituta wspomnienia z dwudziestolecia niepodległości 1918 1939, with the preface by Antoni Gładysz, was published by Promyk in Philadelphia in 1986, with noeditions published any longer. The last item on the list of Korboński s literary works The Jews and the Poles in World War II was first published in English by Hippocrene Books in New York in 1989. In Polish it was published as Polacy, Żydzi i Holocaust by Antyk Publishing House in 1999. Korboński s bibliography also covers numerous letters to editorial boards, corrections, protest notes, and explanations published by a variety of dailies and magazines including: The New York Times, The Washington Post, The New York Herald Tribune, or The Chicago Herald Tribune. Quite a number of his articles have been published by Giedroyc s Kultura, and more than a hundred of his speeches and interviews have been aired by Radio Free Europe and by Voice of America. Moreover, Korboński reviewed quite a number of underground publications including Polskie Państwo Podziemne 1939 1945 by Władysław Bartoszewski.
