14 Event started with an official presentation and handing of the Verafirm certificate to Totalizator Sportowy, confirming compliance of its software asset management (SAM) with the ISO/IEC standard. It took place on February 26 th in the Stock Exchange building in Warsaw (New Connect Hall)

18 Wojciech Szpil CEO of Totalizator Sportowy We have 18 branch offices and the largest network in Poland with 13.5 thousand points of sale. Managing such a vast structure depends on the use of new technologies. They provide greater efficiency and speed, but only if the asset management processes, including SAM, meet the highest standards. Only then the company is actually safer and more effective. After receiving the Verafirm certification, we can be sure that Totalizator Sportowy is becoming such a company.

It has demonstrated how to effectively and safely manage not only IT resources, but also the organization as a whole.

20 Bartłomiej Witucki BSA representative in Poland Verafirm program, which helps in assessing the effectiveness of SAM processes based on the requirements of ISO / IEC standard, allows companies to increase IT security and improve risk management, including legal risks, and to significantly reduce software maintenance costs. I m very happy with the fact that Polish company is the first one in Europe granted with Verafirm certification.
