Camp Small Valley 88 Hemlock Road Halifax, PA 17032 Founded in 1955, Camp Small Valley is nestled on 762 acres in the wooded hills of upper Dauphin County about 30 miles north of Harrisburg. Accommodations range from modern year-round heated units to rustic cabins and tents. Opportunities abound with exploration and wildlife. The camp can accommodate up to 294 people in the summer, with room for 100 additional people in tents in the fields if established units are full, and 150 in the winter. There is also space available for up to 500 people for daytime events. Details about available rental facilities are listed below. Please review this information before your stay at Camp Small Valley.

Check in/check out information Camp Small Valley s ranger lives on the campsite. Units will be open when your group arrives. If you are renting additional equipment, the ranger will be in touch with you prior to your camping trip. Contact the camp ranger directly if assistance is needed on the day of camp/upon your arrival. At the earliest, check in is at 3pm and check out by 1pm. Before leaving camp, please clean up using the checklist on the campsite report. Sign and leave report in your unit for the Ranger. Directions From Chambersburg (approximate drive time: 1.5 hours) Follow I-81 North towards Carlisle for approximately 50 miles Take exit 67A for US-22 East toward PA-230/Harrisburg/Cameron St. Keep left at the fork, following signs for US-22 W/US-322 W/Lewistown/State College and merge onto US-22 W/US-322 W, follow for 6.1 miles Take the exit onto PA-225 N/Peters Mountain Rd In 8.2 miles you will make a right turn onto Powells Valley Road (shortly after Sheetz) Go 7.5 miles on Powells Valley Road turn left onto Mountain House Road Drive 1.3 miles on Mountain House Road and turn right onto Hemlock Road-Camp on Left From York (approximate drive time 1 hour 10 minutes): Follow I-83 North for approximately 20 miles Take exit 43 towards Capitol/2nd Street and follow for.6 miles Keep right at the fork and follow signs for I-83/I-81 Turn right onto Paxton Street then in.3 miles, turn left onto S Cameron Street Follow S Cameron Street for 2.6 miles and then continue onto US-22 W for 6.7 miles Take the exit onto PA-225 N/Peters Mountain Rd In 8.2 miles you will make a right turn onto Powells Valley Road (shortly after Sheetz) Go 7.5 miles on Powells Valley Road and then turn left onto Mountain House Road Drive 1.3 miles on Mountain House Road and then turn right onto Hemlock Road- Camp on Left From Lancaster (approximate drive time: 1 hour 15 minutes) Follow PA-283 West for approximately 28 miles Take the exit onto I-283 North toward I-81/I-83/Harrisburg and follow for 3 miles Merge onto I-83 N and follow for 3.8 miles Continue onto US-322 West for.5 miles Merge onto I-81 South and follow for 1.9 miles Take exit 67B to merge onto US-22 W/US-322 W towards Lewistown for 6.2 miles Take the exit onto PA-225 N/Peters Mountain Rd In 8.2 miles you will make a right turn onto Powells Valley Road (shortly after Sheetz) Go 7.5 miles on Powells Valley Road and then you will make a left turn onto Mountain House Road Drive 1.3 miles on Mountain House Road and then turn right onto Hemlock Road-Camp on Left
