Nearest store, 300 m, in East-corner of foto: department store Anttila and K-Market (food). Near Anttila is Anvia s office. Anvia is a (telephone and) internet operator and Anvia has built internet connections (=Netikka Kortteerinetti) to kortteeri s student apartments. Middle in foto are student apartments. Foreign students live mainly in houses D, I-M and T (there live also Finnish students). 5 Things, which are in apartments and includes to furniture fee: - furnitures in room: bed (+mattress), table, chair and bookshelf - furnitures in kitchen: table and chairs/benches - pillow, duvet/blanket - (white) linen: pillow case for pillow, linen for mattress and duvet/blanket case for There is only one set of linen for bed. Student/tenant must wash linen at least once in every month in laundry. Never use bed without linen. Laundry is in separate building near student apartments. There are washing machines and dryers. Use of laundry includes to rent. Student/tenant buys (from stores) washing powder. page 5

6 Things, which student/tenant buys (or find or bring from elsewhere): - cutlery (plates, glasses, cups, spoons, forks etc.) - kettles/pots, frying pans, knives, bowls etc. In many apartments are already some cutlery and pots, which former foreign students/tenants have left in to kitchen. Student/tenant cleans every time kitchen (stove, oven, dishes, sink etc.) at once after cooking/eating there, that is how people get better along in apartment with shared kitchen. Things, which student/tenant buys (or find or bring from elsewhere): - cleaning equipment (brush, towels, mop, washing powder/liquids etc.) - shower curtain to shower rack, toilet paper In entrance is closet for cleaning equipment (=Puskantie 38 I-M-houses/shared 2 rooms ap.) Student/tenant cleans at least once a week the whole apartment, kitchen always after use. page 6
