Getting to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport at the conclusion of the study tour There are numerous ways to get to Schiphol Airport via tram, metro, train and bus, or taxi. The most familiar and straightforward way is to take the Metro (any number) from Weesperplein to Central Station (2 stops), and switch to rail to Schiphol. Allow 1 hour. The fare is approximately $7. Check http://www.ns.nl/en/travellers/home for the latest train schedules and times. A more expensive but faster method is taxi. The hotel can arrange one for you. Uber is also very popular and effective in Amsterdam, for a similar price (around $50). It takes about 25 minutes.
