Training Course INFOPACK 1/8
THE PROJECT Summary: Following the growing devotion of young people to informatics, like internet and social networks instead of physical socialization makes physical support systems for youth like the Portuguese organization, the organization from UK, Italy, Bulgaria, Estonia and Germany see in Erasmus+ an opportunity to gather and reflect on one same question: Are young people turning away from personal contact because of our support systems? And shouldn t we innovate in these support systems? Thus, during a contact making seminar and a training course to be held in Fornos de Algodres, Portugal in September and November/December 2015, 2 and 4 participants from each country will, respectively, reflect and test methodologies to support online learning and young people through e-learning platforms. The contact making seminar will feature 13 youth workers - two per country, except for the host country which will have one extra element to facilitate activities and the training course project will gather 12 young participants (aged 20 to 30 years) and 13 youth workers. During the two events we will use non-formal education methodologies such as workshops, group work, pair work, focus groups, brainstorming in activities that will promote knowledge about e-learning platforms, their use and animation as well as potentiate reflection about how these tools may be useful for increasing employability of young people, etc. To sum up, this project, which has two international activities will result on six pilot online courses, based on a figure of e-tutor, that with these learnings we'll reach young people who have left traditional learning and support services for online training and support, creating a significant impact in strengthening the work of the organizations involved and its importance to the socio-cultural development of these young people. Specific Objectives: - Creation of new online tools that allow a working proximity with young people; - Develop learning methodologies using non formal education; - Share good practices on the use of e-learning methodologies between youth organisations; - Use online tools for non-formal education of young people through online non-formal learning courses; - Empower youth workers to the frequent us of online platforms to easier communication with youngsters; - Create an e-learning course linked to youth priorities of each partner; - Create an e-learning explanation system for each partner. 2/8
