If for any reason you disconnect the converter box from your computer make sure to use the same USB port where the hardware driver was originally installed. If you use another USB port your computer may not recognize the hardware driver and you will receive an error message. One way around this would be to install the converter box driver to all your USB Ports. Then you will not have to worry about connecting the converter box to the wrong USB Port. VERY IMPORTANT! Before disconnecting hardware from your computer while computer is turned on make sure to use the Safely Remove Hardware icon located on the Windows System Tray on the far right of your Task Bar (near the clock). If the computer is turned off, disconnecting hardware will not create any problem.
