MOBILER key facts in project Asamer Bimodal transports over 62 kilometers via train plus 1,5 MOBILER kilometers via truck Engine driver can do the hole job by himself (train driving, shunting, brake test, loading, ) Utilised capacity 1.300 tons gross weight is the limit of locomotive type Hercules 28 tons pay load per container are 47 tons gross weight, this is the technical limit of the truck, (permission from government of Upper Austria for this 1,5 kilometers) One and a half hours for shunting and loading 900 tons pay load in 32 containers and ~11 hours for unloading the train with one MOBILER truck
Benefits and cost effectiveness Roitham ranks among Europe s most efficient rail loading facilities ( 1.000 tons per hour) One MOBILER truck replaces 6 semitrailers Acyclic product delivery by rail including just in time delievery of the required product 45,60 per container sponsorship from the government department for intermodal traffic are very important and helpful for the economic feasibility MOBILER does not gain wealth with such transports, but we provide an environmentally friendly and competitive solution
