Day 1 - Lima City tour of Lima featuring the visit to the LarcoMuseum, then San Francisco Convent and the Cathedral (Cathedral closed). San Francisco, the greatest monumental complex of colonial art in America. We Hill see basílica with 21 altars, convent with cloister and clementina and capitular rooms, choir and monks library, and the museo de Profoundis that has 111 canvases from Rubens School. We Hill also see the Sacristy, with canvas of Zurbaran and Rivera, Gran Patio Ornamented with XVI century tiles from Sevilla, Morís arcs and finally underground catacombs. Historic center - Paseo de la republica, San martin square, main square, Government Palace, City Hall and old streets with colonial mansions and morís balcones. Day 2 Lima/Cusco/Urubamba Light breakfast (coffee+bread+butter+edam cheese+fruit juice+yogourt) 05:30 Transfer to the airport 07:45 Departure flight to Cusco (3,400 m.a.s.l.) 09:00 Upon arrival, transportation to the Sacred Valley of Urubamba at 2,900 m.a.s.l. On the way visit Awanacancha (Peruvian camelids farm), the indian market of Pisac and the fortress of Ollantaytambo Buffet lunch at Rtunupa Restaurant; Dinner at La Casona hotel Accomodations: La Casona De Yucay Hotel Day 3 Urubamba/Machu Piccu 09:45 Transfer to the train station in Ollanta 11:25 Departure on Incarail executive train to Aguas Calientes 13:39 Arrival and bus to the Lost City of Machu Picchu (2,390 m.a.s.l.) citadel. Day 4 Urubamba/Cusco 09:30 Full day tour to the salines of Maras and the ruins of Moray Buffet lunch at Allpamanka restaurant in the Valley Afternoon return to Cusco to CASA ANDINA CLASSIC hotel Dinner at Maikhana restaurant (on foot) Accomodations : Casa Andina Classic Hotel Day 5 - Cusco 09:00 Morning tour of the nearby ruins: Tambomachay, Kenko, Pucapucara and the fortress of Sacsayhuaman 13:00 Set menu veg lunch at Grreen s Organic restaurant 14:00 Walking tour visiting the Koricancha Temple of the Sun God, stroll around the Main Plaza and visit the Cathedral. Day 6 Cusco/Puno 08:30 Departure on private bus and guide to Puno visiting en route the colonial village of Andahuaylillas and its famous chapel, the ruins of Raqchi and Pukara. Veg box lunch will be provided; Late afternoon arrival to CASA ANDINA TIKARANI hotel in center town Dinner and overnight Accomodations: Casa Andina Tikarani Hotel Day 7 - Puno 09:00 Excursion by boat to the floating Uros Islands. This islands are completely man-made Structures and their inhabitants, the uros, continue to maintain them as they have since Precolumbian times, using totora reeds from the lake to build not only the islands but Also their houses. 12:30 Lunch at local restaurant 14:00 Excursion to Sillustani ruins on the shores of Umayo Lake Dinner and overnight Accomodations: Casa Andina Tikarani Hotel
Day 8 Puno/Lima/New York Light breakfast (coffee+fresh fruit+bread+2 kind of cheese+kiwicha cake) 05:50 Transfer to the airport in Juliaca (distant about 75 minutes) 08:40 Departure flight to Lima 11:15 Upon arrival leave the luggage at the airport storage (own account) and take the bus to visit Huaca Huallamarca, pre-inca archaeological site. Then visit the Gold Museum 16:00 You will be left at LarcoMar shopping center.
