What is the Design Review? Design reviews are an integral part of design verification and the ITER Quality Assurance Program. Design reviews are an integral part of the systems engineering process and are conducted to: assess whether the proposed solution meets the design input requirements; assess whether the proposed solution is the most robust, efficient and effective solution to achieve the product requirements provide recommendations as required for achieving the design input requirements assess the status of the design in terms of the completeness of the drawings and specifications assess the evidence to support the verification of the design performance verify the proper development, establishment, and control of the configuration baseline propose improvements. Design Review A KAH mission in the frame of System Engineering Support Contract Define and implement a process for conducting design reviews Coach and train different departments involved Archive all design review records for future reference Ensure that issues raised during the design review are properly documented Track issues solution MAGNET-VACUUM VESSEL-BLANKET SYST-DIVERTOR-FUELING & WALL CONDITIONNING-MACHINE ASSY & TOOLING-REMOTE HANDLING SYST-CRYOSTAT-COOLING WATER SYST-THERMAL SHIELD-VACUUM-TRITIUM PLANT-CRYOPLANT & CRYODISTRIBUTION-COIL POWER SUPPLY & DISTRIBUTION-STEADY STATE ELECTRICAL PSN-CABLE TRAY-CODAC-CENTRAL INTERLOCK SYST- PLASMA CONTROL SYST-CENTRAL SAFETY SYST-HEATING & CURRENT DRIVE SYST-DIAGNOSTICS-TEST BLANKET MODULES SYST-PORT PLUG TEST FAC-SITE & BUILDINGS-RADIOGICAL 16& ENVIRONMENT-LIQUID & GAS DISTRIBUTION- RADWASTE TREATMENT & STORAGE-HOTT CELL & RADWASTE FAC-ACCESS CONTROL & SECURITY SYST-SITE OUTSIDE PLATFORM-ESI-TBD PLASMA
The interface management process describes the rules to be respected by all those involved in the project interfaces. It specifies the scope of management and types of interfaces to be managed.
