Introduction This classification report defines the classification assigned to TRISO PROTEC in accordance with the procedures given in EN 13501-1:2007+A1:2009. 2. Details of classified product 2.1 General The product, TRISO-PROTEC, is defined as an insulation product used for walls or ceilings, behind plasterboard. 2.2 Product description Product description: product, TRISO-PROTEC, is composed of several layers: - reinforced aluminised polypropylene film, thickness 0.35 mm, surface density 104 g/m²; - polyester wadding, thickness of the wadding 12 mm, surface density 60 g/m²; - aluminised polypropylene film, thickness 0.20 mm, surface density 100 g/m²; - polyester wadding, thickness of the wadding 12 mm, surface density 60 g/m²; - reinforced aluminised polypropylene film, thickness 0.35 mm, surface density 104 g/m². Classification and field of application 4.1 Reference of classification This classification has been carried out in accordance with clause 11 of EN 13501-1:2007+A1:2009. 4.2 Classification The product, TRISO-PROTEC, in relation to its reaction to fire behaviour is classified: B The additional classification in relation to smoke production is: s1 The additional classification in relation to flaming droplets / particles is: d0 Reaction to fire classification: B s1,d0 4.3 Field of application This classification is valid for the following product parameters: - Thickness approx. 30 mm (14 layers) - Surface density 0.65 kg/m 2 - Other properties alu. polypropylene film, polyester wadding, PE foam This classification is valid for the following end use applications: - Substrate minimum class A2 according to EN 13238:2010 - Air gap 40 mm (product in between substrate and plasterboard) - Methods and means of fixing between battens (mutual distance of max. 750 mm) - Joints vertical between plasterboards - Other aspects of end use conditions behind gypsum plasterboard, thickness at least 10 mm 4.4 Duration of the validity of this classification report There are no limitations in time on the validity of this report.
