CATEGORIES AND RULES FOR CLASS A Age categories Cadet: born in 2002 or later. Junior: born between 2001 and 1999. Under 30 division: born between 1998 and 1986. Under 40 division: born between 1985 and 1976. Under 50 division: born between 1975 and 1966. Under 60 division: born between 1965 and 1956. Over 61 division: born in 1955 and earlier. Pair and team In pair one female and one male competitors are performing together. In female team 3 female competitors, in male team 3 male competitors are competing together. In Pair Cadet both competitors have to be born in 2002 or later. Pair Junior and Team Junior: all competitors have to be born in 1999 or later. Pair under 30 and Team under 30: all competitors born between 1998 and 1986. Pair over 31 and Team over 31: all competitors born in 1985 or earlier. Rules In the first round one poomsae has to be performed that is drawn from the Compulsory Poomsae group. In the second round one poomsae from the Compulsory Poomsae group has to be performed also drawn according to the table. In the final round two poomsae have to be performed also drawn according to the table. The poomsae are drawn, not chosen by the competitors themselves! Number of rounds 21 or more competitors: three rounds. From the preliminary round 50% go to semi-final. From the semi-final the best 8 go to the final. 9-20 competitors: There will be two rounds. The best 8 go to final. 8 competitors or less: There will be only one final round. Belt In Master, Senior and Junior categories participants with 1st and 2nd kup can decide if they want to compete in A or B class. Also Cadets with 3rd and 4th kup can decide. If one chooses A category he/she has to know all the compulsory forms! 5

CATEGORIES AND RULES FOR FREESTYLE POOMSAE Rules The music for the Free Style performance has to be sent previously electronically to the Organizer (dora.balog1@gmail.com). Technique: perfomed techniques must be within the boundaries of taekwondo. Each performance shall have a duration from 60 seconds to 70 seconds. Music & choreography shall be the choice of the contestant. Scoring shall be made in accordance with the rules of the WTF. Individual (M/F) Grade Age Note Under 17 4. kup and higher -17 - Over 17 2. kup and higher 18- - Pair (M&F) Grade Age Note Pair 4. kup and higher 12 years and older One pair consists of one male and one female competitor. Team (M&F) Grade Age Note Team 4. kup and higher 12 years and older Composition of 5 members including more than 2 males and 2 females. Application will be limited to 20 freestyle performances. 6

CATEGORIES AND RULES FOR CLASS B Rules In the preliminary and semifinal rounds one poomsae from the 1st Group has to be performed. In the final round two poomsaes from the 2nd Group have to be performed. The poomsaes are chosen by the competitors themselves. Number of rounds: 21 or more competitors: three rounds. From the preliminary round 50% go to semi-final. From the semi-final the best 5 go to the final. 9-20 competitors: There will be two rounds. The best 5 go to final. 8 competitors or less: There will be only one final round.
