WALKABOUT 5215 SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SETTING UP YOUR USER PROFILE IN DRAGON NATURALLYSPEAKING These supplemental instructions provide you with the information you need to configure your Walkabout Transfer and Walkabout Write software with Dragon NaturallySpeaking. When this configuration is done correctly, you are able to record your dictations using your Walkabout 5215 digital recorder and transfer the files to Walkabout Transfer or Walkabout Write. With a user profile set up in Dragon NaturallySpeaking, Walkabout Transfer or Walkabout Write can send your voice files directly to Dragon. Dragon Naturally Speaking is a speech-recognition program that runs on your computer to convert each dictated voice file to a text file that you can easily edit and modify. These instructions assume both Dictaphone Walkabout Transfer or Walkabout Write and Dragon NaturallySpeaking are installed on your PC. Note: You must have Version 1.4.1 or higher of the Walkabout Transfer or Walkabout Write software to be able to integrate with Dragon NaturallySpeaking Version 7 or Version 8. Dictaphone provides these supplemental instructions as a courtesy. Dictaphone does not, however, support the installation, setup, and operation of the Dragon NaturallySpeaking software. Any further support for Dragon software will need to come from the software manufacturer, ScanSoft Inc. Further details on creating and managing your user profile can be found in the Online Help and User Guide provided with Dragon NaturallySpeaking. For additional information about Walkabout Transfer or Walkabout Write, refer to the user manuals and Online Help provided with these applications.
