Mehanial Anhoring Systems KWIK HUS-EZ I (KH-EZ I) Carbon Steel Srew Anhor 3.3.7 3.3.7.1 Produt desription Hilti KWIK HUS-EZ I (KH-EZ I) anhors are omprised of a body with an internally threaded hex washer head. The anhor is manufatured from arbon steel and is heat treated. It has a minimum 0.0003 inh (8 μm) zin oating in aordane with DIN EN ISO 4042. The internally threaded head is larger than the of the anhor and is formed with serrations on the underside. The anhor body is formed with threads running most of the length of the anhor body. The anhor is installed in a predrilled hole with a powered impat wrenh or torque wrenh. The anhor threads ut into the onrete on the sides of the hole and interlok with the base material during installation. Appliable base materials inlude normal-weight onrete, strutural lightweight onrete and lightweight onrete over metal dek. Guide speifiations Srew anhors shall be KWIK HUS-EZ I as supplied by Hilti, In. Anhors shall be manufatured from heat treated arbon steel material, zin plated to a minimum thikness of 8 µm. Anhors shall be installed using a drill bit of same nominal as anhor. Produt features Suitable for raked and unraked normal-weight and lightweight onrete, and lightweight onrete over metal dek. Suitable for seismi and nonseismi loads. Quik and easy to install. Thread design enables quality setting and exeptional load values in wide variety of base material strengths. Anhor is fully removable Anhor size is same as drill bit size. Suitable for redued edge distanes and spaing. 3.3.7.2 Material speifiations Hilti KWIK HUS-EZ I anhors are manufatured from arbon steel.
