, the Marmo Arredo research laboratory, is born Milan 04 12 16 Design and technology meet within pure matter to give life to the Tulèr responsive kitchen Salone del Mobile / Eurocucina 2016, Milan 12-17 April Pavilion 9 Stand E06 OFFMAT is pure matter. OFFMAT is pure research. OFFMAT is a pure vision, between form and function. /FTP/ An experimental workshop, a true laboratory of free expression of matter, which combines industrial excellence, innovation and contemporary design into a new philosophy of design and manufacturing. Developed by Marmo Arredo under the creative direction of Tommaso Corà and Paolo Festa of Tipic, and with the communication identity of the Display agency. Marmo Arredo has been specialized for over thirty years in the transformation of composite materials (engineered stone by Quartzforms) and natural stones destined to the world of furniture. In 2016 OFFMAT is inaugurated, a new lab&hub conceived as a high avant-garde content challenge, industrial capacity and artisanal know-how, to explore the infinite possibilities of matter and propose solutions for tomorrow s marketplace: intelligent, efficient, versatile and durable. The aim is to develop extremely visionary and proactive products which derive from the study of the components and their material and visual reactions, studying the way in which particular materials can be transformed, made to evolve and expand in their functions.
Pg. 2 Moreover OFFMAT, as a study laboratory, is a place of exchange, of synergies and future collaborations that will involve new talents, schools and international designers in a constantly evolving project vision. A perspective which is oriented to the many needs and experiences of modern living, in between aesthetics and utility; a platform of ideas and realizations that exalts and deepens the expertise of the company to extend the scope of application of natural stones towards absolutely extraordinary interpretations. Just like Tulèr, the first concrete project by OFFMAT. Tulèr is a responsive kitchen with elegant and solid shapes, where technical and structural harmony converge to amplify the properties of the stone and reflect a new concept of multifunctional environment. Intended as a project that tells of the interaction with humans, even before being an effective work instrument, Tulèr has been designed by the duo Corà-Festa and it will be presented during the next Salone del Mobile in Milan, at the Eurocucina 2016 pavilions, within the modular aluminium stand conceived by Display. A true laboratory that will welcome all the solutions developed by the designers, with the standard measurements of all kitchen elements - 60X60 - which becomes the authorizing but neutral element of the whole outfit. The various solutions will be exposed both in an integrated manner within Tulér and individually, with the aim to explain and to help understand the research that went into each specific element. /FTP/
Pg. 3 Tulér An exclusive workshop kitchen, complete with movable walls which act both as a containment element and as assistance to preparation. An evolved and multifunctional island, which gets its name from a term of the romagnolo dialect used to indicate the tables for the working of dough. A modernly responsive project, which stands out as a synthesis of the extraordinary relationship between nature and man, between craftsmanship and the competence of industrial processes. Between substance and technology, which openly intervenes with all its ingenuity and know-how on pure substance, to reveal its meanings and previously unexplored functions. /FTP/ The stone top is supported by two easels and a single columnstand, which operates as an element of service, hosting the flow of the water current, the discharges, the electrical wiring and possible air channels. Within its shape made of robust, researched lines, are seamlessly integrated the most advanced capabilities of service and utility. The value of a single slab - natural stone or technical quartz (engineered stone by Quartzforms) - is both concrete and emotional, because it is hand-sculpted and finished to evoke raw quarry slabs. The structure is composed of: Panel with electrical sockets integrated under the worktop Covered sink in stainless steel, with lateral motion control for water supply Hood integrated on surface, in the aspirating or filtering modular variant Drawer with servo-assistance powered push-pull Touch-screen scale inserted in the worktop with integrated numeric display

Can be coated with technical material or in marble with relief graphics. Pg. 5 MARMO ARREDO Marmo Arredo for over thirty years has transformed marbles, granites, natural stones, composite materials and agglomerations intended for building and furnishing. The quality of the products of the company is known and is distinguished around the world as an ideal combination between manual processing craftsmanship and high technology, developed over time and through important studies and experiments. Marmo Arredo combines the precision and reliability of technology to the passion for handicraft to make unique projects. It is an innovative company that offers designers and architects the best and most advanced machine tools, making more daring and innovative projects possible, adding a strong handicraft attention that counts on the contribution of over 100 specialized workers and on hand finishing of every stone. /FTP/ DISPLAY Initially born as a collective of communication professionals, Display reached its final form in 2015, in Milan, as a multidisciplinary design studio with a strong vocation for experimentation and research. Display is responsible for various projects in the world of art, architecture and design, among which stand out consulting for Prada Group, Versace and the Biennale of Architecture. The study was founded by Michele Marchetti, Alessandro Barbieri, Francis Needham and Andrea Bergamini. TIPIC Tipic was born from the collaboration between Italian designers Tommaso Corà and Paolo Festa, two creative directors stimulated by a lively curiosity for materials. From the analysis of matter the product strategies proposed by the design duo are born, positioning themselves in the market as a highly stimulating and productive reality, relying on the know-how acquired in years. Long and important are the collaborations with prestigious
Pg. 6 realities: Tommaso has worked for over ten years with Aldo Cibic and among others, carries out projects for Artemide, Arc terix, Bormioli, Foscarini, Riva1920; Paolo works for Arclinea, Antonio Citterio and ALBED. Tipic s design approach develops through the analysis of materials and control of the manufacturing process, by connecting the experience of Italian masters with industrial innovation, to encourage the emergence of new narratives that make the most of the natural inclinations of the reality with which it collaborates. QUARTZFORMS The stone evolution. Product, technology and territory for the evolution of the stone. Quartzforms has succeeded in an ambitious project to create the perfect surface thanks to efficiency, technology and innovation. The products are manufactured in compliance with the strictest protection and environmental impact standards, with unrivalled attributes concerning versatility, resistance, aesthetic yield, hygiene and ease of maintenance that have become a source of security and inspiration for architects and designers from all over the world. Quartzforms is made in Germany and the company is based in Magdeburg, where it can achieve the best logistics conditions, thanks to rapid motorway and rail connections, as well as inland waterways as it is near the inner harbour on the river Elbe. /FTP/
