During the design phase for Ahrend 500, it was one of our main criteria. The result is a modular table series to suit every type of work station. In particular, this easily assembled system allows businesses to quickly adapt their work space to ever-changing market dynamics. Today, being at work no longer means sitting and working at the same desk every day. Instead, the work area has evolved into an environment that allows people to meet each other, exchange information, share ideas, plan a report or hold ad hoc meetings and brain storming sessions. This philosophy was the starting point for the Ahrend 500 bench and Ahrend 500 Duo workspace. The current approach entails the development of modular and flexible work areas. These are spaces specifically designed to keep up with continuously changing circumstances, with a focus of creative solutions and the enhancement of business and personal productivity. Using the space available in the most efficient way is the top priority. The Ahrend 500 bench and Ahrend 500 Duo workspace are an intelligent response to these needs.

3 I 2 3 I work IN TEAM CREATE CONCENTRATE Modular table system Accommodating flextime staff requires an updated concept of space. People need a place to stop, settle in, log in to a computer and then move on once they have finished the task at hand. Our designers Lieke van Gool and Wijtse Rodenburg developed the Ahrend 500 bench with this concept in mind. We have always been keen to create products that excel in functionality, flexibility and design, but which also maintain a good balance between price and quality. The Ahrend 500 bench was no exception. The result is a modular table system that is easy to install and can be adapted to suit every conceivable work space.

4 I 4 5 I FOrM, FUnCTIOn AnD PerSOnAL SPACe Versatile The versatile Ahrend 500 bench makes it easy to add elements, to remove or replace them and to create workspaces in a wide variety of styles. To accommodate individual or group needs, users can add overhead storage units, privacy panels and side tables. As a result, productivity, creativity and comfort are maximised. The Ahrend 500 bench allows for individual freedom in a personal workspace, while ensuring that the work area remains open so as to allow dynamic interaction. Transparent materials provide privacy but avoid isolation, resulting in a work area that feels spacious even where space is limited.

Thanks to their adjustable heights, two separate table tops can accommodate a variety of users effortlessly.
