History Adam Lacko Petr Ful n Erik ani an Kopeck Single make racing has a strong tradition in Czech Republic, especially when it comes to Škoda Octavia Cup. Some of you may remember e legendary Česká pojišťovna Škoda Octavia Cup which started in 1997 and became huge phenomenon for almost 13 years. During ose years more an 120 drivers took part. For some of em Octavia Cup was an important rst step to kickstart eir careers. 1997 2005 A few names which come to mind i an k Mateusz Lisowski tefan Rosina Michal Mat ovsk are: Jan Kopecký, Adam Lacko, Petr Fulín, Štefan Rosina, Jiří Janák and Erik Janiš. Race format Each race weekend will consist of: 30 mins Free Practice 20 mins Qualifying + Superpole TOP5 (to be con rmed) 60 km Race 1 60 km Race 2 All races will take place separately. During each race weekend a podium ceremony and press conference will be held for rst ree drivers according to e overall result of e event (sum of points from bo races and qualifying). Entry and oer fees Entry fee for whole season 2016 100.000 CZK (free practice, qualifying, race 1 and 2) Extra testing session 2.000 CZK / 25 mins (above e time of official practice session) Pirelli tyre 7.000,- CZK / pc All prices are excl. VAT. Bo spare parts and Pirelli tyre service will be available during every race weekend. Six new tyres are allowed per single race weekend.

You Development Programme Organiser in cooperation wi Racestar project and Autoklub ČR will take care of special JUNIOR and RACESTAR cars. Thanks to is programme young talented drivers who will succeed in e Organiser's selection process and RACESTAR competition will get a chance to drive Octavia Cup racer.
