8 2016 Series Format Porsche Carrera Cup Italia Every competitor (Team with Entrant License) can enter to the Series one Single Driver or a Couple of Drivers The race format will remain based on a Single Driver (Porsche One Make Series characteristic) 2 Rankings: Overall and Michelin Cup (reserved to Gentlemen drivers) The admission to Michelin Cup is reserved to Gentlemen Driver and Gentlemen Couple of Drivers. 10 2016 Series Format Gara 3, Endurance Porsche Carrera Cup Italia The starting grid will be based on the sum of two best laps set in qualifying sessions. Duration: 45, rolling start Change Driver/compulsory break between 20 and 26 racing time Minimum time during the compulsory break increased by 5 for the single drivers Handicap time to implemented during the next Endurance (it cannot be combined) Awards and Money Prizes for the first 6 classified Podium Ceremony for the Team Manager of the winner driver/couple of drivers Porsche Italia S.p.A. 11 2016 Series Format Driver Match/Qualifying-Race Porsche Carrera Cup Italia The Team Manager must communicate the match Driver-Qualifying during the weekend briefing. For the nomination will be followed the chronological order based to the inversion of the last endurance race. For the first race, the order will be assigned by a draw. 12 2016 Series Format Tires regulations Porsche Carrera Cup Italia Every competitor must register nr. 3 set of new tires for each racing weekend. The management of these 3 set will be free. During free practices, it will be possible only use nr. 12 tires previously registered during the championship races. (new tires will be allowed only for the first weekend) It will be allowed register nr. 4 spare tires (already used during free practice) in case of need for the Endurance Race. Porsche Italia S.p.A. 17 2016 Series Format Point Ranking Porsche Carrera Cup Italia There will be only two valid results per Driver (Overall and Michelin Cup) for every racing weekend. The single Driver must cancel the worst result of two Sprint Races. Will be assigned 1 point for the pole position in every Sprint Race. (exept for the canceled results) Will be assigned 1 point for the fastest lap in every race (Sprint and Endurance); The point of Endurance Race, in case o couple of drivers, will be assigned to the equipe. 24 COSWORTH data acquisition system Use of the Cosworth data acquisition system as supplied on the car is compulsory. The system is associated with the chassis number and must not be replaced. All data on the free practices, qualifying and races must be made available to the Technical Marshals or their representatives. Installation of the steering angle sensor and brake pressure sensor and expansion of the 128 MB memory are permitted. All components used must be Cosworth original parts. 25 Video acquisition system COSWORTH Alive Drive-S Mounting and use of the system as required by the race regulations is compulsory. 26 Radio communications Voice communications between box and car are allowed The voice radio system must be installed in accordance with the 991 Cup MY 2016 Technical Manual. Choice of the radio device to the driver is free, but must be approved by the Technical Scrutineers. Loudspeakers inside the helmet must be installed in accordance with the corresponding FIA regulations. Radio Frequency operating licences are the responsibility of each Individual team. 27 Radio communications (2) The PCCI Organization will be responsible for providing a radio communication system between the race management and the individual Team Managers, who may be contacted jointly in the case of safety communications or separately for sporting communuications. The structure also includes areas dedicated to merchandising and test drives. Services reserved to the teams competing in the Carrera Cup Italia: Permanent «All Season» Hospitality Passes included in the Championship registration fee (5 per vehicle) Possibility of purchasing various types of Hospitality Passed at preferential conditions.
