ATLAS FAQ 1. For Travel Agent, there is a system call ABACUS that all policy issuance from ABACUS can be retrieve via our TRAVEL NET with the selection of SABRE. Is the ATLAS able to do so? ATLAS is an entirely new platform independent from ABACUS and TravelNet. ATLAS Reporting capability is currently not available but user can search specific policy and retrieve documents e.g. Policy Schedule, Cancellation, Invoice (Travel Agent) and Receipt (Market Agents). 2. Will TravelNet still exists alongside with ATLAS or will it be phased out like EWAATS in future? TravelNet will NOT be phased out as to support Abacus businesses. 3. Will all policies created in ATLAS be interfaced and found in TravelNet as well? No policies issued in ATLAS will be populated in TravelNet. 4. What if agent claims that he/she still doesn t have enough time to key-in the details of the 30 paxin ATLAS, are they still allowed to issue the policy at the counter? If yes, are they still entitled to 25% commission? Only 15% commission will be given to those agents transaction over the counter for Travel Assist Per Trip Individual Policy. However, the following products shall maintain as 25% commission if submit over the counter: - 1. Group Travel Assist 10 persons and above or organization policy 2. Annual Travel Assist 3. Student Assist 4. Corporate Assist (BTA) 5. Endorsement If agent doesn t want to cancel and reissue policy for minor non-financial errors such as wrong spelling, numbers, etc, can they just submit endorsement at the counter as per current practice? Yes, however AIG will not perform endorsement at the back office. It is for filing purpose. 6. Age Band Why is ATLAS stating 0 to 99 years of age only when our policy age requirement is unlimited? ATLAS limitation is that it only supports up to 99 max age and this threshold cannot be increase. Since these type of cases are very rare, hence we should be able to accept manual issuance. 7. Beneficiary Do consider limit of 30 pax names for the field instead of going back to the old way of handling exception manual attachment kept in branch. This will be considered as part of ATLAS future enhancement.
8. Document Delivery An email add box (with email address defaulted from email address keyed into Insured Details section) should be placed next to Send to Customer instead to avoid confusion This will be considered as part of ATLAS future enhancement. 9. Payment As stated in the user manual, only 2 options out of 4 are made available Issue on Account and Credit Card. Why? Travel Agents payment is on monthly basis. Thus, trust Issue on Account option will be opened to them? In ATLAS, access will be given to Market and Travel Agents. Specifically for, Travel Agents by default ONLY Issue on Account is option selected. Other options are disabled. Travel Agents payments will flow and handled as per current process (monthly). Market Agent by default ONLY Credit Card option is selected. Other options are disabled. 10. Destination/Region It s a one step backward from our current ewaats feature. Any possibility to maintain the selection as per EWAATS country selection instead of region selection? This will be part of ATLAS future enhancement list. It is not available in Day 1 as such changes impact other countries that are sharing the same platform. In the interim, we believed training and education provided to agents is important to avoid any confusion. 11. Browser Compatibility - Can other browsers besides IE v6 supports ATLAS? Users can still use other browser e.g. Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, etc but ATLAS interface will NOT be displayed correctly. We recommend users to use Internet Explorer 6 and the earlier version. 12. Login Issue Why I can t log into ATLAS even when I entered the correct details?
