MOBILITY IN BARCELONA Brief Recommendations We recommend to buy a T-10 card (1 zone): Multi-person travel card valid for 10 intermodal journeys. Passengers have 75 minutes between the first and last validation when changing lines or mode of transport. Price: 9 80. Be aware that public transportation in Barcelona can be a little bit confusing. Have a look at the public transportation logos in this document to see the differences. We recommend you to walk around the city centre, but keep an eye on your belongings, especially in Las Ramblas and in the subway. There are pickpockets who easily recognize tourists. Normally nothing happens, but take care of your valuable items. Note that FGC trains have a low frequency on Saturday. Check the maps below to find out the different C MUN places. CosmoCaixa (Training session, registration and committee sessions): CosmoCaixa is located at Carrer Isaac Newton, 26. It is about 10 minutes away from Plaça John F. Kennedy. To get there, you must take the FGC (Catalonian Railway) L7 to Av. Tibidabo (last stop). L7 stations in the city center are Plaça Catalunya and Provença stations. Once you are at Plaça John F. Kennedy, to arrive at Cosmocaixa you can either walk up Avinguda Tibidabo for 10 minutes or take the bus number 196 (the street is quite steep). Bus lines which stop at CosmoCaixa or Plaça Kennedy are: 17, 22, 58, 60, 73 and 75. You can check them out at: http://www.tmb.cat/en/linias-de-bus ANUE / UNA-Spain Headquarters (Registration only for those who are not coming to the training session, Wednesday from 3.00 to 5.00 pm): ANUE is located at Via Laietana, nº 51, entresuelo, 3ª. It is close to Plaça Urquinaona (subway lines L1, L4) and five minutes away from Plaça de Catalunya (Aerobus and subway lines L1, L3, L6 and L7). Barcelona City Hall (Opening session): Barcelona City Hall is in the old part (the Gothic suburb), at Plaça de Sant Jaume, (subway lines L4: Jaume I; L3: Liceu). You can also go on foot, it is only 15 minutes away from Plaça Catalunya. Fàbrica Moritz Barcelona (UN Quiz): This restaurant is in Ronda sant Antoni 41, it is really close to Plaça Universitat (subway station Universitat L1-L2). You can also walk 10 minutes from Plaça Catalunya (L1-L3-L6-L7) Xup, Xup Restaurant (Farewell Party) It is located at Passeig Marítim de la Barceloneta (the seaside promenade), in front of the beach (literally). The easiest way to get there is taking the L4 subway (yellow line) and get off at Ciutadella/Vila Olímpica Station. Walk down Ramon Trias Fargas street until Passeig Marítim and make right. The restaurant is at beach level, close to the last stairs of the promenade.
