student testimonials. steph gibson Alex Davies Johnnie Lu Once I had finished Sixth form I Since leaving the North Liverpool After attending Sixth Form I joined began an apprenticeship at the North Academy Sixth Form I have been Warwick University to study Liverpool Academy, in Business and studying Astrophysics at the University Engineering, a passion I developed Administration. After 7 months of of Liverpool. When continuing my through my subject choices, enrichment working there I was made a full time permanent staff member. During the following Summer I transferred to one of the Northern Schools Trust s other schools to continue my role. Had the Academy not approached me about the apprenticeship scheme they were going to host I wouldn t have contemplated completing an interview for the job or be in my current role now therefore the Academy gave me the opportunity to go straight into work from 6th form. second year at university I transferred over to a Theoretical Physics course as I thought this would be more beneficial for me in terms of my interests and my career. The Academy is full of great opportunities! As well as studying I also completed drum tutoring sessions for younger students which gave me a personal interest to discuss in my University application. In addition the subjects I studied whilst at Sixth Form led to me gaining my interest in Physics and subsequently Theoretical Physics. opportunities and work experience whilst at North Liverpool Academy. The excellent teaching at the Academy helped me to focus on my strengths and realise my weaknesses in order to achieve the best possible results. Developing these skills as an independent learner greatly helped me maintain my academic success whilst at University. The life and learning skills I gained whilst at the Academy assisted me in the transition to University and have helped me keep on my feet. NORTH LIVERPOOL ACADEMY // SIXTH FORM PROSPECTUS
