AfPE Accreditation The FA Tesco Skills Programme are delighted to have secured three years accreditation from The Association for Physical Education (afpe), demonstrating their confidence in the quality of the content, delivery of the programme and support for teachers. Durham Skills coach Robbie Pringle, who also works with the programmes education steering group, said, This recognition highlights the impact the Skills Programme has for pupils and teachers in primary schools across England. Teacher resources are now available online for schools working with the programme so that children can enjoy high quality PE lessons once we have moved on. If your school is interested in having an FA Skills Coach come into work with the teacher and children, please visit our website for more details. www.thefa.com/tescoskills Robbie Pringle has been working in our school over the last three years. His lessons are always engaging and the children remain on task and learn a lot from them. At the beginning of this term we had Ofsted in and one of Robbie s lessons was watched. The Ofsted inspector was very impressed with his lesson and in the report it states that pupil s participation in PE lessons is excellent and they are planned to encourage a healthy lifestyle and well-being. Robbie also works well alongside our teaching staff and they have gained new skills which they can now deliver in their lessons. Clare Prynn, Windy Nook Primary School.
