DUAL-CHANNEL XMT868 REDUCES COSTS AND MAXIMIZES PERFORMANCE. The optional dual-channel/ dual-path version can be used: For even lower per-point measurement costs, measure flow in two separate pipes with one XMT868. For maximum accuracy and to minimize the effects of flow distortions, install two sets of transducers on the same pipe. For maximum flexibility, mix clamp-on and wetted transducers as well as Transit-Time and TransFlection modes. For All Liquid Flow Measurements. The XMT868 can be programmed by a handheld RCCU. REMOTE CONTROL AND COMMUNICATION UNIT (RCCU) FOR ON-SITE CONVENIENCE. The optional, hand-held RCCU is used for easy on-site programming of the XMT868 and for display of flow and communication data. Communication with the XMT868 is via an infrared link, for use in difficult or remote areas, and for easy spot-checking at many different sites. BUILT-IN ENERGY FLOW MEASUREMENT CAPABILITY. The XMT868, with optional temperature input, extends the benefits of ultrasonic flow measurement to energy measurement. Measure flow and temperature without pipe penetration in pipes from 1/2 to 200 inches in diameter. CHOOSE WETTED OR CLAMP-ON TRANSDUCERS. Ultrasonic flow transducers are classified as either wetted or nonwetted (clamp-on). Wetted transducers are mounted into the pipe or spoolpiece in direct contact with the process fluid. Clamp-on transducers are clamped onto the outside of the pipe and never come into contact with the process fluid. Pan-Adapta Precision- Machined Pipe Plug WETTED TRANSDUCERS FOR MAXIMUM ACCURACY. The IDM pop-up menus make it easy to upload site or calibration data from the flowmeter for verification or safe storage. Stored data can also be downloaded to one or more flowmeters, eliminating the need to program multiple meters separately. With IDM, live measurements or logged data may be viewed or graphed right on your PC monitor. All data can also be stored in PC memory or exported to spreadsheets, word processors, databases, or other software packages for graphing, reporting and further analysis. In addition, IDM lets you operate your flowmeter remotely from your PC since it provides access to virtually all XMT868 functions. SUPPORTS MODBUS COMMUNICATIONS. Certain optional XMT868 configurations support MODBUS communication using the RS485 standard for 32 nodes on one multidrop network at distances up to 4000 feet.
