2 Company Profile 2014 The Company GmbH & Co. KG is a specialized company (German Water Management Act) and ISO certified. As a specialized and certified company, Anlagen- und Messtechnik GmbH & Co. KG is your reliable partner whenever professional and efficient high-quality industrial waste water treatment, exhaust air cleaning, chemical distribution and ultrapure water production matter. Established in 1999, Anlagen- und Messtechnik GmbH & Co. KG is named after Dr. chem. Erika Kornder, the founder and managing director. Over the past fourteen years of practical experience in the field, the founder and her team have established business relations with a wide customer basis. With our customer and solution focused approach, our professionalism and our service-orientated and reliable business practices, we serve customers in various industries such as photovoltaic (poly-silica, thin-film), automotive, consumer products, semiconductor, aerospace, transportation and plating. Our customers trust in our products and services in Germany, across Europe and across the globe. = International Customer Basis As a result of our focus on customer specific solutions, the company s turnover has continuously increased in recent years. 3 Before moving to its current location in Bergheim near Cologne, the medium-size German based Anlagen- und Messtechnik GmbH & Co. KG had its offices for more than a decade in Langenfeld and was widely known under the name of Dr. Kornder Analysen- & Messtechnik GmbH & Co. KG. Due to its transition to a manufacturer of large-scale industrial water treatment systems, the then-current name did not match with the company s product portfolio anymore. To realign its name with its business focus, the company took the chance to update its name with the move to its new office location in Bergheim. Fourteen years of hands-on experience gained across industries, in various locations around the globe, in small to large scale projects, with innovative and reliable products and services are a solid proof of our substantial expertise. This expertise is what each of our customers can fully rely on, no matter where they are in need of our services. 3

With our Systems Engineering team, we support our customers from the development, planning and 3D design of new manual, semi-automatic or automatic systems, to their assembly, commissioning, maintenance, repair and after sales-services. Whether in Germany, Europe or in any other location, we support our customers wherever they require our services. With our Speciality Chemicals team, we support our customers in their need for reliable and efficient chemicals. Our chemical product range covers applications such as cleaning agents, precipitation agents and flocculation aids, bactericides, anti-scaling agents and anti-foam agents. Based on extensive long-term experience in the field of industrial water treatment, our speciality chemicals team also offers application consultation to all our customers. With our Sensors and Measurement Equipment team, we offer economic and reliable products and solutions related the measurement and control of ph, conductivity, ORP and temperature. We offer system solutions for all applications in the area of industrial water management systems. As your competent partner, we project, deliver and assemble water recycling and treatment systems for all industrial waters and components such as tanks, agitator, pumps etc. We realize manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic systems, equipped with state-of-the-art control technique and network-compatible process visualization. Our product range includes systems for batch and continuous waste water treatment, ion exchanger, selective ion exchange, desalination, UV-oxidation and disinfection, reverse osmosis and continuous electric deionization as well as membrane filtration and chemical storage. Our team covers the entire service range, from development, planning and 3D design to assembly, commissioning to maintenance, repair and after-sales service. In recent years, we have successfully realized large scale projects for customers in various industries, such as solar module manufacturers with poly-silica and thinfilm technology and in various locations around the world, namely Malaysia, India, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the USA. 6 Due to our expertise, our broad service network and our financial stability, we have successfully executed small to large scale projects in recent years. For customers with new production facilities under construction, we are able to offer minimized onsite system installation schedules. With our optional pre-assembly service, we are able to start the manufacture of our custom made systems in Germany before our customer s new production facility is ready for equipment move-in. With our extensive experience, we also offer research and development services. For the development of new treatment procedures, we have successfully developed, designed, constructed and commissioned a 20-feet fully operational miniature waste water treatment pilot system. In addition, we also support our customers in their needs for expertise around chemical analysis and process improvements. 6

7 Sensors & Measurement Devices From sensors for the measurement of ph, ORP, conductivity or temperature, to supplies and electronic measurement equipment, our Sensors and Measurement Equipment team manufactures customized and standardized sensors and measurement equipment for all applications in the area of industrial water management. The design and construction of all our sensor and measurement devices is aligned to ensure optimal functionality and cost effectiveness. Sensors In our own glassblowing department, all our sensors are hand-made and produced to our customer s specific requirements. ph Single-rod measuring sensors, reference electrodes and measuring electrodes with membrane glasses and diaphragms according to the designated application. ORP Single-rod measuring sensors and metal electrodes (in connection with a reference electrode) for the industrial measurement technique Conductivity Conductive conductivity sensors with glas/platinum constructions and screw-in sensors with stainless steel or graphite-sensors as well as submersible sensors. Temperature We deliver temperature sensors with PT100- or NTC-technology in various designs and materials. Supplies For the optimal application of our sensors, we also offer a wide range of additional equipment such as special sensor cable, numerous flow-through, hanging and submersible devices and different level transmitter in various designs. 7

8 Measuring Equipment Specifically aligned sensors and measuring instruments form the basis of professional measurement and control systems. Through our wide range of reliable sensors, we offer modern instruments for the precise control and regulation of your installations. Komma As a microprocessor controlled, multiparameter measurement system for ph, ORP and conductivity, the Komma combines serveral measurement devices in one. Over its touch panel with integrated graphic display, the operator is able to configure the measurement to ph, ORP or conductivity at all times. In addition, the illustration of the measurement values as well as the operating language may be modified. The Komma is available for the installation into a control cabinet as well as for infield usage. This multiparameter device allows for optimized equipment and spare part storage. 48-series With this series of measurement devices, we offer an analog measurement transformer for values such as ph, ORP or conductivity with power exit and limit value control in a standardized 48 x 96 mm casing for installation into a control cabinet or for infield usage. By using our 48-series, you profit from economic and proven technology, exceptional insensibility against external electronic influences, its alignment with our entire product range, easy operation, fast availability, even in larger quantities and high reliability even with long-term storage. The 48-series is easy to configure via its display. Karo Our newest development is the series Karo - a microprocessor controlled measuring converter for ph, ORP and conductivity. It has one more switch relay and a second alarm relay, and especially the integrated, galvanic separated power output 0/4-20 ma makes it special. Like the 48-series the Karo is also available in a standardized 48 x 96 mm casing for installation into a control cabinet or for infield usage. The supply voltage is 230 VAC and 24 VDC. MuH04 The analog measurement device MuH04 is a measurement transmitter for the values for ph, ORP and conductivity with voltage and power exit in its top-hat rail casing. Whether you use a process control on the basis of programmable control system or an industrial PC with visualization, with our MuH04 you receive an ideal interface between process and control. Its economic and long-term practically proven technology is aligned with our sensors and exceptionally insensible to external electromagnetic influences. Supplies In addition to 48-, the MuH04- and the Komma-series, we also offer additional electronic equipment such as handheld measurement devices, signal transducers and ph-simulators. 8

9 Speciality Chemicals For the optimal operation of industrial water and wastewater treatment the use of appropriate and effective special chemicals is often necessary. With our wide range of chemicals, especially developed for the application in wastewater treatment and ultrafiltration systems, our customers benefit from our years of experience and competence. In addition to favorable offers our customers enjoy the benefits of our analytical and technical advice regarding the application and effectiveness of the chemicals during the treatment process. Cleaning Agents This product series serves for the optimized cleaning of polluted diaphragm surfaces in ultrafiltration systems. The cleaning agents are easily soluble, alkaline reacting powders. For extremely polluted diaphragm surfaces and for avoiding the formation of secondary diaphragm layers, the use of neutral, liquid cleaning enhancers and flux stabilizers has proved to be successful its industrial application. Flocculation Aid Agents Flocculation aid agents connect numerous small and lightweight sludge particles to larger and heavier sludge particles. This way, flocculation aid agents help to reduce the time required for the precipitation of sludge. Our flocculation aid agents are available as powder or liquid. Bactericides Our bactericides are developed as highly effective biocides, applicable in all industrial waste water treatment systems. With our bactericides, the bacteria-related downtime of selective ion exchangers is reduced, the concentration of remaining heavy metals does not raise due to bacteria and the exchange or resins remains easy. Anti-scaling Agents Hardly removable coatings such as e.g. calcium sulfate may cover and block pumps, pipes, filters and other machinery in use in industrial water treatment systems. Our anti-scaling agent focusses on specifically blocking the formation of crystalline structures. With this, our anti-scaling agent counteracts the formation of persistent coatings and helps to extend the lifetime of industrial water management equipment and reduce maintenance and repair costs. Anti-foam Agent Persistent foam is known to result in substantial malfunctions in industrial water management systems. To avoid the formation of foam and to destroy existing foam, our anti-foam agent is the right choice - even under extreme conditions. Our products are silicone-free and can be used in the presence of ph-sensors without hesitation. Precipitation Agent State-of-the-art plating is impossible without the use of complexing substances. Their application is very versatile and results in the presence of organic complexing substances in almost every industrial waste water. In the treatment of waste water, the complexing substances interfere with the hydroxide precipitation of the soluted metals, which may lead to exceeding the regulatory limits. Our precipitation agents react with the soluted heavy metals and form a insoluble compound. With this, complex bound heavy metals precipitate which allows for their easy, economic and efficient filtration. 9
