CKC NON-MEMBER PARTICIPATION FEE The Non-Member Participation Fee applies to dogs wholly owned by a resident of Canada who is not a member of the CKC; it is not applicable to CKC members or dogs co-owned with a CKC member. In order for the title to be awarded, the non-member will have a choice to either become a CKC member or pay the Non-Member Participation Fee. Failure to comply within 30 days of notification will result in the title being withheld and the dog cannot be moved up to the next level. The Non-Member Participation Fee is fee paid in the calendar year (January December) in which the dog achieved its title and/or titles. Due to consistently fluctuating currency rates, discounted cheques will not be accepted. Personal cheques will be accepted, however, they are to be payable in Canadian funds. All Open finalists will compete for Best Open in Sweepstakes. Best Junior, Senior and Open will compete for Best in Sweepstakes. A rosette will be awarded for Best Junior, Senior, Open and Best in Sweepstakes. Best in each age class - 50% of the entry fees collect in that class. Best in Sweepstakes - 25% of the total entry fees 25% of the total entry fees will be held for administrative purposes. To enter All Breed Sweepstakes, dogs must be entered in one of the regular CKC classes in the all-breed show on CAMPING Camp at the Show Site - close proximity to rings. BEST CANADIAN BRED COMPETITION CANADIAN BRED BOX MUST BE CHECKED OFF ON THE ENTRY FORM. Dogs may be entered in any class to compete. Rosette and $50.00 for Best Canadian Bred in Show. Judging of CB will take place after Breed Judging Competition unless automatic. 1. CB Best of Breed will be selected from the dogs eligible to compete for BB. 2. If the Best of Breed dog is CB it will automatically be the CB BB. 3. If ineligible, then the next highest CB placement will compete against the eligible dogs of the opposite sex. 4. Should none of the BB competitive dogs be CB then any CB dogs (not directly or indirectly defeated in the classes by an CB dog) will be invited back. 5. The CB BB dogs will compete for Best CB in Group immediately after Regular Group Judging. 6. Should the Regular Group 1st dog be CB then it will be automatically CB in Group. 7. If no CB places in the Group (1-4) then all BB CB dogs will be called into the ring for CB Group Judging. 8. STEAK BAR-B-Q We are back to our original ribeye s The Bobcaygeon Kennel Club will be having a Steak Bar-B-Q on Thursday, June 30, 2016 1 hour after Best in Show. The menu will be steak, baked potato, salad, beverage and watermelon. Bring your culinary skills with you, because you will be cooking your own steak. Cost for this feast is $ 15.00 each or $ 6.00 for children under 12 years. Pre-registration will take place on Thursday, June 30, 2016 There will be a sign-up sheet at the Show Secretary s table. MOTELS Dogs will be accepted at these motels but must be crated. Owners will be responsible and liable for damages, and must clean up after their dogs on Motel grounds. Moving class dogs to specials is permitted. An error in the class, date of birth or sex many be amended on the entryform up to one hour before the start of the show. 2.. All entry confirmations and Judging Schedules will be sent as soon as possible after entries close. 3. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO VERIFY the receive of any electronic entries prior to the advertised closing date. A valid means of payment must accompany all entries. 4. All exhibitors should review Section 4.1-Judges-General, sub sections 4.1.3, 4.1.4 & 4.1.5 of the CKC Conformation Rules and Regulations. 5. Exhibitors must abide by errors made in entering their dogs regardless of how or by whom the entry was made. 6. It is the exhibitor s responsibility to have the dog in the ring when the dog s class is called to be judged. 7 The Bobcaygeon Kennel Club, its officers and associates will use due care & diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of an accident or misfortune, to either dogs, exhibitors, or patrons. If because of riots civil disturbances, or other acts beyond the control of the management, and it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of entry fees will be made. 8. The Show Superintendent will be in complete charge of the show and/or trial which will be governed by the rules of the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) 9. SHOW PRECINCTS - The Show precincts shall consist of all areas set out for rings, all shelters or facilities set aside for show officials, judges or exhibitors and handlers, and an area of 30 feet outside of the judging rings. 10. Judging will commence no earlier than 8:00 am each day. An later starting time may be specified in the judging schedule. 9 10
