The history of Lizard 1965 1958 Production of boilers and burners Foundation of Rodigas of Roverato Dino 1965 is the year that marks the transition from an almost domestic production to the industrialisation of the processes for manufacturing boilers and burners. When the methane gas arrived in Padua, Dino Roverato decided with great insight to start producing burners for converting old wood and coal stoves and cookers into modern gas cookers. Changing of the company towards the engineering field An increasingly saturated market led the company to rapidly address the metal and mechanical sector. Making use of highly skilled labour, Rodigas specialised in the production of dies for sheet metal forming. The choice to follow the changes in society led me and my wife Elsa who has always been at my side taking care of the administrative part, to focus on the production of innovative articles that combine quality and high productivity. 1970 1990 Production of air-conditioning mounting systems The gradual disappearance of specialised labour in Italy, led the company to change its production into fastening systems for air conditioning, which has been and still is the recent story of Rodigas in Italy and abroad. 2013 2000 Rodigas of Roverato Dino becomes Rodigas srl The company is leading a courageous entrepreneurial choice. While many companies are beginning to relocate, Rodigas has acquired the most advanced technologies for the transformation of sheet metal in order to produce, rapidly and competitively, certified articles completely manufactured in Padua. Relocation is an affront to the territory and the people who have done so much to allow our growth over the years. Impoverishing an area to increase profits is totally extraneous to the corporate philosophy of Rodigas. Foundation of Lizard Manufacturing with the aim of producing PV mounting systems in South Africa 2014 Lizard became Rodigas official supplier Thanks to the partnership with the European company Rodigas and its know-how, we contributes to the qualification and specialization of the local workforce for a positive development of the social contest where the company is inserted. We study a range of products designed exclusively for the South African market. Enlargement to photovoltaic mounting systems production Another big energy change involves the country: the advent of photovoltaic systems. Rodigas has always shown great flexibility in addressing the energy evolution. Thus, with the arrival of renewable energies, we decided to extend production to fastening systems for the photovoltaic sector. 2011 Enlargement to fall-arrest systems production The attention to market developments and the experience in the photovoltaic field have led the company to design a complete range of fall protection systems that, in line with the structures for photovoltaic systems already produced, enable to offer a single integrated and certified system. 2007 3

Standard STANDARD AnALISYS To verify our systems, we have conducted numerical analysis with the FEM method (Finite Element Method) used to study the mechanical behaviour of the elements.
